The Edgartown Yacht Club

The Edgartown Tennis Center holds senior and junior events each summer, including yearly tournaments with clubs at East Chop, West Chop and Vineyard Haven. Adults have competed in the Spectator Bowl against the Nantucket Yacht Club since 1950, and junior players now compete too. There are seasonal tournaments to crown champions among juniors, men, women, singles, seniors, doubles and mixed doubles. The instruction and clinics run each summer by the Tennis Center staff remain unrivaled on the Island.

The Boathouse & Field Club - Edgartown, Massachusetts

The Boathouse is a private club on the island of Martha’s Vineyard (off Cape Cod, Mass.) that offers exceptional recreational amenities and world-class service to its members, their family and guests.

Historically, the combined clubs were one of the little-known secrets of the island. That all changed in January 2015 when HGTV gave away its 2015 Dream Home which was built on The Field Club grounds.

Mink Meadows

Another popular course is Mink Meadows Golf Club, a nine-hole, semi-private course. It was designed and constructed in 1936 by Wayne Stiles and enjoys a wide and loyal following. Non-members can make tee times two days in advance.

Measuring 3,078 yards on the front nine and 3,139 on the back, the course challenges golfers with its rolling terrain and rewards them equally with ocean views over Vineyard Sound to Woods Hole and the Elizabeth Islands.
