The Lauderdale Yacht Club’s new clubhouse is located on a point facing a wide part of the Intracoastal Waterway in the beautiful Rio Vista neighborhood. We have a variety of indoor and outdoor dining options from causal to fine dining. Most dining areas and bars have views of the water, passing yachts and our youth sailing teams practicing their skills. LYC is a 5-Star Platinum Club with 3 dining areas, 3 indoor bars including a beautiful cocktail lounge, and a pavilion bar by the pool. We have a very large heated pool, tennis courts, fitness center, youth sailing center and 220 feet of guest dockage. Our staff is friendly and professional, and food and beverages are excellent. LYC welcomes members of Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Gotta love private clubs. We came here for dinner the other night and it was my first time inside although we have sailed many times past it on the Intracoastal. They are remodeling part of the club so we chose to eat in the bar which was functional and not pretentious as some clubs are. Our server, Dominc, was terrific. He greeted us warmly at the door, told us a little about the club given we were visiting and then proceeded to tell us what he liked on the menu which I always appreciate. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and spinach topped with crab and it was some of the best salmon I have had. My friend had a steak which was also perfectly prepared. And then just when I though I couldn't eat anymore, Dominic suggested their coconut cake. OMG! I love coconut so this cake with a center of coconut cream pie filling was unbelievable! I was only going to eat a bite but I finished the whole thing! It was dark so the view from inside was just darkness but I am hoping to go back on a beautiful day and sit outside on the patio and watch the world sail by. Service was over the top the way it should be at a private club. Since we were visiting this club, when we checked in at the front, the entire team came out to welcome us and as the local resident, they even took it as an opportunity to share with me how I could join the club it I wanted. Speaking of service, parking is valet out front and I loved that the valet graciously helped an older woman who was unsteady on her feet and was looking for something that she thought she had left in her car. He made sure she was safe on a bench and then went looking for the item which never showed up. But he made sure she had someone with her. I'll end where I began in my love for private clubs. The adage, "yu get what you pay for" is certainly true here. Can't wait to go again and see what the new addition offers. Sounds like it will be done in March 2024.

This was my first time here, I've looked at the club from across the water many times. I greatly appreciated the valet parking since it was pouring rain that night. The decor is clean, with white walls. The event I went to was upstairs, the room has floor to ceiling windows so you have great views of the water. The food was good, we had two types of salads, a cheese board, charcuterie board, chicken fingers and meatballs. For dessert they had chocolate chip cookies and chocolate brownies. I loved the brownies, they are the cake type of brownies that I used to have as a kid.

I came here for an event. You can no longer just drive in- they have to open the gate for you. And you must valet. The club is dated and it looks like they are doing a makeover. I was there for an event. I must say the employees are very helpful. David Burke was extremely professional and very helpful. I needed something printed out and obliged without a blink of an eye. The downstairs bathrooms are way more modern than ups stairs. The upstairs room is quite dated. The outside is pretty and it's on the water. Getting there is sometimes a challenge. Lots of traffic and waze sends you there but you think it's wrong! But it is correct!

I go every month for a charity luncheon. Everything about the events is immaculate: ambience, food, service ... What a pleasant way to spend the mid-day!

Great bar, awful food. Honestly the CRYC has poured a good drink for years, as their dining has been in a freefall to the bottom. Their buffet selections were extremely narrow, heavy on fried food, overcooked, lukewarm and tasteless. The entree and vegetable offering spanned fried chicken strips and fried chicken to tough barbeque ribs. The salads were tired and their desserts boring.

4 1/2 in the bar. They pour a serious drink of quality at a fair price. A bar for professionals.

This place is very expensive and it is not a yacht club by any means. Most of the boats there are under 40 m. The Board of Directors is filled with very pretentious folks. The building is very dated and not modern whatsoever. The gym that they offer is an absolute joke. They're much better places to put your money, this is not one of them.

It's a private membership only club and though I'm not a member consider myself fortunate to have been an invited guest on several occasions. The members or at least those I've seen generally tend to fall within the Senior Citizen, such as me, or above category, but there are a number of things that really make this club very special. First and foremost is their enviably nice location right smack next to the Sunset Bay area on the Intracoastal Waterway. Also the club itself is very nice, extremely well maintained, has excellent dinning with top quality food served in its Commodore Lounge. It also has an exquisite Intracoastal Room with a patio like covered area where numerous parties, events and weddings are hosted or take place. Indeed, their theme parties are well known as being some of the best around. For activities they offer a fitness center along with a tennis as well as massage area and maintain a reciprocal agreement for golf with the nearby Coral Ridge Golf Club. They also have various sailing and cruiser activities with instruction and learning classes plus other wide ranging family planned activities. As with every yacht club you can rely upon the members all being most helpful as well as friendly. All in all, one of the finest yacht clubs I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.

This is the most beautiful, friendly, and entertaining club anyone would be lucky enough to be a part of! No matter what the age, Coral Ridge Yacht Club has something for everyone. If you have a boat, a yacht, or simply enjoy the water views, you're sure to make forever friends here. The food's delicious, drinks are flowing, and the views can't be beat! Best. Club. Ever.

We have been members for many years but we only come down a few times a year. Covid -19 happened and we have been here for 2 months. CRYC has been the saving grace for our stay. They pivoted to take out, entertainment, groceries! We always loved the staff but they have been incredible. The takeout food has been excellent. Drink specials like Cheryl's Sangria and Bloody Mary's have made at home cocktail hours bearable. Remote wine tastings have been amazing and opened up new wine choices. If you love great food, excellent drinks, beautiful pool, great view, caring staff, boaters....it does not get any better!

Lovely place mid century modern architecture. Just fabulous. Friends are members and I'm lucky to be a frequently invited guest. The food is fabulous especially the Sunday brunch poolside.
