The Berthon Sales Division has a large international brokerage house with offices in Lymington, France, Scandinavia, Spain and the USA. We are delighted to advise and help you with your yacht purchase in the main yachting centres worldwide. We also have an active new yacht division, distributing Windy Boats of Norway.

Berthon International can service or refit your yacht, offering anything from a fresh coat of antifoul, to a new teak deck, new suite of electronics or complete rebuild.

Berthon Lymington Marina has 280 deep water berths situated in the heart of the enchanting Georgian town of Lymington with easy access to the Solent.

Berthon has a rich history, records indicate that the Berthon Shipyard in the UK has been in existence since Roman times and even gets a mention in the Doomsday Book. Berthon in its current form has been continuously trading since 1877 and remains at the forefront of the marine industry today. Berthon’s brokerage history goes back 1935. This part of the business staged its first boat show in 1955, attracting 120,051 visitors! After a short absence and an early Easter weekend, the Berthon International eNews returns. All the Berthon offices are busy with sales, closings, preparing yachts for the season, and getting ready for the 2024 boat shows.

Lymington Marina (Berthon)

Berthon’s lavish facilities have been the envy of many so why not try them yourself? Notable for our location closest to the High Street and also just a few minutes’ walk from Lymington Town railway station, our upriver position affords maximum protection from prevailing south westerlies and with wider fairways and higher fingers than most marinas we pride ourselves on the comfort we offer visitors and annual berth holders alike. Berths (both annual and visitor) up to 130’ are available.

Berthon Lymington Marina shares the same site as its parent Berthon Boat Company, employing 150 people (including 30 apprentices) providing all the relevant marine trades and skills in-house and therefore we offer to service, repair or refit your RIB,  sailing yacht or motor boat, proposing everything from a fresh coat of antifoul to a new teak deck; a new suite of electronics to a complete interior rebuild. Our comprehensive range of boatyard services include yacht painting, laying up, rigging, dry sailing, marine electronics sales and installation, yacht valeting and of course, simple annual maintenance.

Since 2011, Berthon USA has been the dealer for Moody Yachts. Moody designs by Bill Dixon are fast, comfortable cruising yachts, with all the modern features. What is incredible to sail are the 'decksaloon' versions, with tons of storage and one level living, a feature sought after by those planning a long distance adventure or simply a full time liveaboard situation. The decksaloons are available in the Moody 41 DS, the popular 45 DS, or the roomy and fast 4-cabin Moody 54 DS.

We represent Rustler Yachts of England for the United States and Canada. These fine yachts include the Rustler models from the 24’ daysailer, the 33’ (daysailer/weekender), the Rustler 37, 42 & 44 cruisers and finally the striking Rustler 57. Berthon offer a comprehensive range of services for customers moored at Lymington Marina. Ideally located on the Solent, with easy access to the full racing and cruising grounds of the UK – as well as being a short hop from the English Channel and Europe – Lymington is easily accessible by rail, road and water.

We include a brief outline of our facilities below, but if there are any other services that you need that are not covered here, please contact our Dockmaster’s office which can be found on the ground floor of the Marina Building, and they will be delighted to help.

Washrooms & showers

The only washrooms in Lymington with a choice of showerheads, underfloor heating and hot boxes to warm your towels! These luxury facilities on site are accessible 24/7 by key code access, with deluxe toiletries, and hair dryers included.

Dockmasters & Security

Our Marina Manager and his team are on hand to welcome you as soon as you arrive. John’s job is to ensure your time with us is as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. All you have to do is ask and his team will make it happen.

Stop for a hot beverage or snack at The B Bar. All fresh and locally sources ingredients, so whether you have a sweet tooth and fancy a New Forest Ice cream, or you’re craving a freshly cooked bacon butty, The B Bar has a wide range of delicious snacks and treats available to take-away, or sit down and enjoy on our benches.

Conveniently located close to the main Lymington River channel, on the end of C-Pier, opposite the Wightlink Ferry terminal. This allows easy access for boats of all sizes to come alongside with no tight manoeuvres required. (On the ebb tide it is essential to approach by heading upriver to stem the current.) Open for service daily from 08:15-closing time varies according to season. If you require fuel contact us on VHF Ch80 or call 01590 647405.

High-Speed Wi-Fi 6

The only marina in the UK to offer Wi-Fi 6. This means dedicated internet for your boat, so that your connectivity will be faster at peak times. There is high speed Wi-Fi available for visitors across the marina, including down the pontoons.

Recycling & waste disposal

Berth holders and visitors are actively encouraged to recycle. Recycling facilities for glass, cardboard, oil and more are available on-site.

Parking & Electric car charging

Berthon Marina has quick and easy links to Hampshire and London, with rail access in the town and the M27 a short drive away through the picturesque New Forest. Extensive free parking is available on site, which now includes electric car charging points.

Your safety is our number one priority; our team are here to ensure you can enjoy everything we have to offer, without putting you, or your loved ones at risk. We aim to provide a relaxed environment for your safety and enjoyment. We ask that you please familiarise yourself with our Marina map and safety information.

We offer a full concierge service which includes laundry, provisioning (including popping cold goods in the fridge) and cleaning. Maximise your time on board.

Onsite we have 100 skilled staff, at modern boatyard facilities. Berthon has the ability to deal with all aspects of yacht and motorboat repairs, refits, maintenance and servicing. We also project manage yacht and boat construction or fit-out projects of the highest quality.

The Laundry now has two washer-driers with tokens available from the dockmaster’s office.

Marina Storage

Keep your yacht free of clutter, without having to take your gear home, with our storage units. We have a large variety of storage unit sizes to meet all your needs, perfect to store fenders, ropes, tenders, outboards, sails and much more.
