Here’s How Much It Costs To Rent The St. David Yacht On Below Deck Season 10

It is the largest yacht on the series to date.

The St. David yacht sails in St. Lucia in 'Below Deck' Season 10.

As the latest boat to be featured on Below Deck Season 10, the St. David yacht is just as lavish — and pricey — as you’d expect. According to Boat International, it was created in 2008 as part of the Benetti fleet, and it’s the largest yacht to appear on Below Deck . The yacht itself is somewhat of a celebrity and has made appearances at the Cannes Film Festival while also sailing to locations like the Seychelles, Red Sea, and Abu Dhabi.

The boat was last sold in 2018 for an asking price of €22,500,000 (about $23,026,027). Currently, you can rent the St. David Yacht through Morley Yachts. A week-long rental is going to run you up €325,000 per week (about $383,514) plus expenses during low season. During high season, that price can go up to €345,000 ($407,115) a week.

If you’re curious about what the ship looks like, chief stew Fraser Olender gave a tour of the yacht for Bravo. In a preview video, he leads viewers through the main deck to a sundeck that has two “bunny pads” that host classes like yoga, boxing, and drinking sessions. “It’s truly a special place on board to be graced with,” he said.

Next is the jacuzzi, which Olender noted is the biggest he’s worked with so far. But he adds that his favorite place is the huge sky lounge, which lets in a lot of light and has a classical Baroque theme. Beyond that, the yacht features six rooms, which include a master suite and five cabins. It can hold a total of 12 guests, along with 14 crewmates.

There is certainly a number of fabulous living quarters, but below deck is, unsurprisingly, a lot less luxurious. “We absolutely have no space back here. The smallest pantry I’ve ever had to work,” he says, showing off a tiny room. “But it caters to all our needs, and we’ve just got to make due.” On the plus side, he notes that their crew mess room is “massive,” adding that he doesn’t get much time to spend there. Though, based on the Season 10 trailer , some crew drama is going to happen there.

As for Olender’s fellow crew members, they’ll all be led by Captain Lee as he sails the St. David around the waters of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. As Lee soon realizes, running a bigger boat means more crew members and a lot more problems. Olender has to navigate a major conflict between some of the stews as tensions heat up in the interior department. Meanwhile, chef Rachel Hargrove raises the bar on cuisine, but soon the pressure to maintain that workload starts to overwhelm her. And then there’s all the messy romance drama as Bosun Ross McHarg starts up several casual relationships with the other women on board.

Clearly, there’s a lot going on deck of the largest yacht on the series. So while you might not have the money to rent the St. David yourself, at least you can tune into its drama when Season 10 premieres on Nov. 21.

'Below Deck' season 1 promotional image

If anything is apparent from an episode of Below Deck , it is that the top-end yachts featured on the reality series are highly luxurious. Guests expect the highest-quality experience for their money, and in return, the crew on the yachts are pushed to their limits to deliver the utmost, most efficient service.

For those who watch the show and want to try the Below Deck experience from above deck, it is possible to charter a yacht featured in the series. Be warned, if it wasn’t obvious enough, boarding these ships requires some seriously deep pockets.

'Below Deck' season 2 promotional image

According to the experts at  Yacht Charter Fleet , the yacht from season 1, named Honor, costs a cool €155,000 per week to charter, which is around $170,000 in US dollars. This includes an entire deck crew from chefs to ship stewards but does not include additional costs, such as fuel – and it only goes up from there.

As the seasons have gone on, the yachts have only gotten bigger and better, with more glamour packed per inch. Season 10’s ship, St. David, has a hefty charter rate of €325,000 a week, roughly $350,000. For your money, you’ll get access to a spa pool, a cinema screen, and a titanic-like spiral staircase fitted with a skylight. There are six luxurious suites on board, designed for you and your 12 wealthiest friends to have the best week of your lives.

If your purse strings are a little tighter, the Northern Sun superyacht from the current season of  Below Deck Down Under  is 167 feet long at a rate of $162,000 per week. The Lady Michelle from season 6 of  Below Deck Mediterranean  offers an open-air cinema, a dining room for 12 guests, and an owner’s suite for the VIP of the ship.

Here are a few key factors that can influence the cost of a Below Deck charter:

Yacht size and features : Larger yachts with more amenities typically command higher prices. For example, the Sirocco from Below Deck Mediterranean is valued at over $18.5 million.

Season : High season (usually during the summer months) is generally more expensive than low season, as there's more demand for yacht charters during this time.

Duration : Charter prices are typically provided as a weekly rate, so the longer you plan to spend on the yacht, the higher the cost will be.

Destination : Popular cruising grounds like the Mediterranean can be pricier due to increased demand.

Crew size and experience : A larger, more experienced crew may require higher wages, which could affect the overall cost.

When planning to charter a yacht featured in the Below Deck TV show, it's important to keep in mind the variations in costs depending on the duration of your charter. In this section, we'll be covering the most common charter durations: one week, three days, and 10 days.

st david yacht below deck cost

While the base cost of chartering a yacht on Below Deck might seem like the biggest expense, there are additional expenses that come with chartering a yacht. This section will break down a few key additional costs, including crew gratuity, provisioning costs, fuel, and dockage fees.

Crew gratuity is around 15–20% of the charter cost

The hard-working crew on Below Deck is an essential part of your luxury yacht experience. As a token of appreciation for their service, it's customary to provide a gratuity at the end of your charter. Crew gratuities are usually around 15–20% of the charter cost. Be sure to factor this into your budget when planning your yacht vacation.

Provisioning costs are around 20–30% of the charter cost

Provisioning covers the cost of food, drinks, other supplies and amenities such as toiletries, cleaning products, and water sports equipment, and any special items or activities you may request. Yacht charters on Below Deck often include world-class cuisine and personalized menus for guests, prepared by skilled chefs. Some charters offer an "all-inclusive" rate, while others have an advanced provisioning allowance (APA), which covers these costs, usually around 20–30% of the charter cost.

Be aware of fuel and dockage fees

Depending on your itinerary and how much time you spend cruising versus docking, these fees can vary. Fuel costs can significantly increase the overall cost of your charter, especially for larger vessels with more powerful engines. As a general rule, guests should expect to pay anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000 or more in fuel fees for a one-week charter.

Dockage fees depend on the marina, location, and length of your yacht, and they are usually charged per night. As a general rule, guests should expect to pay anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 or more in dockage fees for a one-week charter. When planning your Below Deck yacht charter, work closely with your yacht broker or charter company to estimate these costs based on your desired itinerary.

st david yacht below deck cost

Booking a Below Deck yacht charter can be a complex process, but with the help of a yacht charter broker, it can be made easier. It can take several months, especially during peak season, so it's recommended to start the process at least six months in advance to ensure that you can secure your preferred yacht and itinerary. Here are the steps to book a Below Deck yacht charter:

Choose your yacht - Research the different Below Deck yachts and choose the one that best suits your needs and preferences.

Determine your itinerary - Discuss your preferred sailing location and itinerary with your yacht charter broker. They can help you plan the perfect itinerary based on your preferences. Some yachts featured on Below Deck have cruised through the Caribbean or the British Virgin Islands, so consider the ambiance you're looking for on your charter.

Decide on your dates - Determine the dates that you would like to charter the yacht. Keep in mind that peak season (June to September) typically has higher charter rates than off-peak season (October to May).

Discuss your budget - Work with your yacht charter broker to determine your budget for the charter. They can help you find a yacht and itinerary that fits within your budget.

Sign the contract - Once you have chosen your yacht, itinerary, and dates, your yacht charter broker will provide you with a contract to sign. This contract will outline the terms and conditions of the charter, including the price, payment schedule, and cancellation policy.

Make the initial payment - Once you have signed the contract, you will need to make an initial payment to secure the yacht for your chosen dates.

Finalize the details - Work with your yacht charter broker to finalize the details of your charter, including the crew, menu, and any additional activities or amenities.

Enjoy your charter - Once all the details are finalized, it's time to enjoy your Below Deck yacht charter. The crew will take care of all your needs and ensure that you have an unforgettable experience.

Here's a friendly guide to help you navigate the cancellation policies to avoid any unwanted surprises or losses on your investment.

As a general rule, most yacht charter companies adhere to industry-standard cancellation policies, which are designed to safeguard both you and the yacht owner. However, each yacht may have specific terms and conditions based on the owner's preference. It's always best to inquire about these details before signing a charter agreement.

Typically, if you cancel your trip within a certain time frame, you will receive a partial or full refund of your deposit. For example, if you cancel more than six months before your scheduled departure date, you might be eligible for a full refund. On the other hand, if you cancel within a shorter time frame, you may be subject to a penalty or forfeit your deposit entirely.

The specific terms and conditions of cancellation policies when chartering a Below Deck yacht can vary depending on the yacht and the charter company. However, here are some general guidelines for cancellation policies:

If the charter is cancelled by the charterer (the person or group booking the yacht), the following cancellation fees may apply:

  • If the cancellation is made more than 90 days before the charter start date, the charterer may forfeit the initial deposit.
  • If the cancellation is made between 90 and 60 days before the charter start date, the charterer may be required to pay 25-50% of the total charter fee.
  • If the cancellation is made between 60 and 30 days before the charter start date, the charterer may be required to pay 50-75% of the total charter fee.
  • If the cancellation is made less than 30 days before the charter start date, the charterer may be required to pay the full charter fee.

If the charter is cancelled by the charter company (due to technical problems with the yacht, for example), the charterer will typically receive a full refund of any payments made.

Some yacht owners require the payment of a cancellation fee, which can either be a fixed amount or a percentage of the total charter cost. Make sure to inquire about these details before booking your dream Below Deck experience.

Lastly, consider purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or travel restrictions, that might lead to a trip cancellation. This way, you'll have peace of mind knowing that you're covered should the unexpected happen.

How to charter a Below Deck superyacht

Want to know how much it would cost to charter one of the luxury superyachts featured on US hit TV series Below Deck ? We take a look inside Below Deck ’s famous superyachts that you can charter for yourself, and find out what they have to offer charter guests on board.

Northern Sun

The star yacht of Below Deck Down Under season two, the 50.8-metre Northern Sun (originally delivered as Hokko Maru ) has lived a full and fascinating life. She was the largest yacht built by Narasaki Shipbuilding at the time and worked as an ice-class research vessel, analysing marine life and ocean currents in the North Japan Sea. As a result, she has the hardy constitution of an explorer, transformed from ship to superyacht under the stewardship of her new owners.

Northern Sun’s main deck is now dedicated entirely to entertainment, from the al fresco dining area to the main saloon with its piano and games table. Other leisure highlights include gym equipment, a dedicated library on the lower deck and an outdoor Jacuzzi, surrounded by sun pads and lounge beds. The owners’ addition of a forward seating area during her refit allows for versatile recreation, whether the mood calls for cocktail parties or quiet, waterside contemplation.

Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across six cabins, with rich, warm interiors that feature natural materials such as narra and makore wood (commonly known as cherry mahogany). The ex-explorer also – naturally – has impressive stowing capacity. She's able to carry two Laser sailboats, scuba-diving equipment, a waterski and a two-deck-high inflatable water slide, with the broker describing her as a "family-orientated" vessel.

Charter cost: Northern Sun is managed for charter by Ocean Independence with a weekly charter rate starting from $161,700.

More about this yacht

Yachts for sale, yachts for charter.

The star of Below Deck Mediterranean season seven, 49.8 metre Home is the first “green” superyacht to appear on the show. Featuring a ground-breaking combination of a super-efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form by Van Oossanen Naval Architects with power provided by a hybrid propulsion system, Home boasts reduced emissions and fuel costs for the eco-conscious charter guest.

Defined by a distinctive vertical bow and large expanses of glass, Home was penned by Omega Architects and launched by Heesen in 2017. Her interiors, designed by Cristiano Gatto in a modern “Ibiza style”, can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins including a full-beam master cabin with a dedicated dressing room and a private office. There is also room for nine members of Below Deck crew on board, including Captain Sandy who has returned to the helm for the seventh season while Home is cruising the coasts of Malta .

The main socialising spot is up on the sundeck, complete with a Jacuzzi and sit-up bar, a shaded lounge and protection from the elements provided by glass screens. Closer to the water, a beach club with an air-conditioned gym is situated next to the swimming platform from which guests can launch the water toys including SeaBobs, Hoverboards, E-foils, Jet Skis and a Flyboard. Home also carries gear for scuba diving, waterskiing and wakesurfing for guests to make the most of their time on board.

Charter cost: Home is managed for charter by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $245,000.

Sailing under her own name around the South Pacific islands of French Polynesia on Below Deck’s sixth series, the 56.4 metre My Seanna (now Starship ) was built by Delta Marine in 2000 and refitted in 2014. The Glade-Johnson designed superyacht reappeared again for season eight, where she was filmed cruising in Antigua. She is now starring in the latest season of the show, season nine, following her recent sale .

Key features include an open air Jacuzzi surrounded by an al fresco drinks bar, a gym, a sauna room, a helipad and a spacious beach club complete with a lounge, flatscreen TV and a small galley for preparing snacks or drinks. Her opulent interiors can accommodate up to 12 guests and 11 crew and even offer a home cinema and piano for entertaining in the main saloon. There are multiple toys carried on board as well, including gear for diving and spearfishing, Seabobs and equipment for underwater filming.

“The thing that I really love about My Seanna is the spacious cabins” says Worth Avenue retail charter broker, Shannon McCoy, who has appeared on episodes of Below Deck . She describes My Seanna as a “well-appointed yacht with a good collection of toys for the guests to enjoy,” offering an excellent layout with a variety of spaces that allows charterers “to have breakfast in a different place every morning or enjoy dinner whether it's outside under the sun or in the formal dining area.”

Charter cost: Starship is managed for charter by Worldwide Boat with a weekly charter rate starting from $275,000.

Lady Michelle

Sailing under her real name, Lady Michelle was the star of the sixth series of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was the latest series from the Med spin off. The 54.8 metre Benetti superyacht is the second biggest yacht ever to feature on the show, following just behind the 56.2 metre motor yacht The Wellington from season five. During season six Lady Michelle hosted charter guests in Ibenik, Croatia with Captain Sandy behind the helm.

First delivered in 2003, Lady Michelle features accommodation for up to 14 guests including a split-level master suite with its own panoramic observation lounge. Her Stefano Natucci interiors offer indoor and al fresco dining spaces, an expansive sundeck with a hot tub and dedicated gym. There’s also a range of toys at the guests’ disposal, from Jet Skis and Seabobs to fishing gear and a waterslide.

Charter cost: Lady Michelle is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from $325,000.

The Wellington

Actually named The Wellesley , this 56.2 metre Oceanco superyacht is owned by property magnate and hotelier Khalid Affara and named after his luxury art deco hotel in London. Delivered in 1993, The Wellesley features extended deck spaces and Donald Starkey -penned interiors that replicate the grandeur of the eponymous Knightsbridge hotel. Highlights on board include a waterfall jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema for movies under the stars and a unique private club-style lounge complete with a Winston Churchill inspired cigar room.

Describing why she makes an excellent charter yacht, James Graham-Cloete, director of charter management from TWW Yachts , says that The Wellesley is “ideal for entertaining family and friends, or hosting corporate events in utter privacy,” thanks to the fact that she “boasts some of the largest open deck spaces of any 56 metre on the water.” Graham-Cloete also adds that, on The Wellesley , “guests are invited to experience the same exceptional personal service, fine dining and attention to detail that has become synonymous with the hotel, on board a private superyacht,” while being looking after by her 14 crew members. “The crew have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry and one of the best charter records, along with a full-time masseuse on board- making her the ultimate charter yacht!” says Graham-Cloete.

Charter cost: The Wellesley is managed by TWW Yachts with a weekly charter rate starting from €230,000.

Talisman Maiton

Built in 2006 by Turquoise Yachts , with a refit in 2012, the 54.2 metre Talisman Maiton sailed the coasts of Italy in the third series of Below Deck Mediterranean and was also captained by Sandy Yawn. Key features include a generous open plan sun deck with a forward-facing Jacuzzi and bar, al fresco dining spaces and a gym. Inside, she features six individually styled cabins for her 12 guests – including a master suite with its own private office – complemented by a sumptuous interior inspired by a combination of Asian and Art Deco influences. Her toy box is filled with snorkelling and fishing gear, Jet Skis and more for guests to enjoy while on board.

Charter cost: Talisman Maiton is managed by Burgess with a weekly charter rate starting from €273,000.

Ionian Princess

Appropriately named for the first season of Below Deck Mediterranean , which was set in Greece, the 45.7 metre Christensen -built yacht was captained by Mark Howard during filming. Launched in 2005 and last refitted in 2016, Ionian Princess features a luxurious Greek-style inspired interior finished with high-gloss sapelle mahogany joinery and custom in-laid stonework throughout. Ionian Princess can host up to 12 guests in six cabins, including two master cabins, and also boasts plentiful dining options and a sundeck equipped with a hot tub and sunpads. She also comes with a fleet of water toys from waterskiing and wakeboarding kit to Jet Skis and kayaks. Thanks to her shallow draft, she can also access hard-to-reach hidden gems in the Mediterranean Sea that other larger yachts aren’t able to. “ Ionian Princess is ideally suited for cruising the Mediterranean, which is the most sought-after region for summer yacht charters,” says her management team at charter brokers Northrop & Johnson.

Charter cost: Ionian Princess is managed by Northrop & Johnson with a weekly charter rate starting from $175,000.

Parsifal III

Parsifal III has been the star of the sailing yacht spin off of Below Deck , captained by Glenn Shephard during filming. The 54 metre Perini Navi was launched in 2005 and was designed by Rémi Tessier . She was most recently refitted in 2020, and offers accommodation for a total of 12 guests and nine crew. Her design has seen her scoop a number of World Superyacht Awards and provides her with excellent performance capabilities at sea; when the weather is on your side, Parsifal III can hit speeds of up to 18 knots under sail. While at anchor, there is still plenty to keep guests entertained with a variety of al fresco and indoor dining spaces, a flybridge hot tub, gym equipment, a swimming platform and a fully-stocked toybox.

Charter cost: Parsifal III is managed for charter by Camper & Nicholsons with a weekly charter rate starting from €195,000.

This 46.88 metre Feadship yacht has so far starred in three seasons of Below Deck , filmed while cruising in the warm-weather destinations of the US Virgin Islands, Saint Martin and Thailand. Featured under the name Valor , she is actually called BG and is owned by Canadian entrepreneur Bobby Genovese . Delivered in 1990 to a design by Frits De Voogt ,  BG  can accommodate 12 guests and 11 crew members. On board highlights include her deck hot tub, on board gym and al fresco dining spaces. She also carries an extensive fleet of toys from Jet Skis and wakeboards to a climbing wall and inflatable slide. In 2021, BG  emerged from an extensive, multi-million dollar refit, with her owner detailing that “everything that could have been done to the boat, has been done”, from tech upgrades and new toys to a fresh lick of paint on her hull. “I love that boat, and the more boats I go on, the more I like my boat,” says Genovese.

Charter cost: BG is available to charter privately , POA.

Appearing under an alias, Eros –named after the Greek god of love - was actually called Mustang Sally during season three, which was filmed in the pristine waters of The Bahamas. Since airing in 2015, the 49.07 metre superyacht has been renamed Stay Salty . Built by Trinity Yachts in 2008 to a design by Geoff Van Aller , Stay Salty accommodates a total of 12 guests and 10 crew members on board. Inside, highlights include the split-level master with a private study and panoramic views, as well as a formal dining area and skylounge with a drinks bar. Above deck, viewers would have seen guests enjoying themselves in the hot tub and al fresco dining and lounge areas. Toys carried on board that charter guests made full use of during the show include Jet Skis, fishing equipment and a beach picnic set up. Powered by twin caterpillar engines, Stay Salty can reach a top speed of up to 20 knots.

Charter cost: Stay Salty is not currently available for charter, but in 2020 was sold by Denison Yachting with an asking price of $12,900,000.

Meet the Below Deck season 10 cast: who's who in the Bravo series

It's time to meet the cast of the superyacht St. David.

Below Deck season 10 key art

It's time to set sail on the largest boat in Below Deck history! Below Deck season 10 features the massive 197-foot superyacht St. David with Captain Lee, the "Stud of the Sea" at the helm.

In the 10th season of the beloved Bravo franchise, the St. David calls the port of St. Lucia home. Captain Lee has two familiar faces with him this season in Chef Rachel Hargrove and Chief Stew Fraser Olender. Together they'll navigate a new crew.

Bravo has provided brief bios for the returning crew members as well as the newcomers. So let's get to know the cast of Below Deck season 10!

Captain Lee Rosbach

"Captain Harold Lee Rosbach has spent more than three decades in the yachting industry. Born and raised in landlocked Michigan, he discovered his untapped love for the water while managing restaurants in Turks & Caicos. It was then that an acquaintance invited him to serve as a mate on a sailboat delivery to earn extra cash. At 35, Lee obtained his captain's license and left the restaurant business behind to pursue his newfound passion. Since then, the Running Against The Tide author has commanded more than a dozen super yachts. Lovingly known as the 'Stud of the Sea,' Lee values the special bonds he forms on deck and always puts the safety of everyone on board above all else. Lee is excited to return to the Caribbean this season with familiar faces Chef Rachel Hargrove and Chief Stew Fraser Olender as he adjusts to new super yacht, St. David."

Rachel Hargrove, chef

"Originally from Tampa, Fla., Rachel Hargrove is a cosmopolitan yacht chef with an extensive repertoire of culinary skills. Although predominantly self-taught, Rachel attended the Culinary Institute of America and held an apprenticeship at the Michelin-starred restaurant Quatro Passi in Nerano, Italy. After spending time in Thailand, Japan, India and Italy to expand her craft, Rachel revels in her wide range of cuisines — from molecular gastronomy to gluten-free pasta, she is unphased by almost any charter guest preference sheet. A talented and experienced chef, Rachel admits her demanding professionalism can be polarizing to others. No matter their opinion, Rachel is always sure to stand her ground on deck."

Fraser Olender, chief stew

"With a passion for luxury hospitality and travel, it was a no-brainer for Fraser to join the yachting industry four years ago. He got his start on a motor yacht in Naples, Italy, and has never looked back. Prior to yachting, Fraser worked in commercial bookings for leading model agencies in London. In the off-season, he loves to travel to picturesque destinations, staying at the world's finest hotels with the dream to one day open his own. Returning to the Caribbean to work under Captain Lee again, Fraser is thrilled to be chief stew on St. David. However, when the charter guests get too demanding, he must prove his worth as a department lead."

Ross McHarg, bosun

"Leading the deck team this season is Bosun Ross McHarg. Originally from the UK, the British yachtie has spent the last 15 years living all over the world. Most recently, his travels have landed him in Asia, where he has set up base. Twelve years ago, Ross found yachting through teaching ski seasons in Europe and abandoned the snow for the sand without a second thought. With his love of travel and meeting new people, yachting was the perfect career move. A seasoned bosun, Ross brings experience and wisdom to his team, but his flirty ways get him in hot water with the crew."

Luis Antonio 'Tony' Duarte, deckhand

"Originally from Costa Rica, deckhand Luis Antonio 'Tony' Duarte is no stranger to the seas. An adrenaline junkie, Tony has experience as a dive master in South Africa, whale-watching guide in Costa Rica and a zip-liner in the Bahamas. When he's not working in beautiful, remote locations, Tony enjoys surfing, fishing and cliff jumping. A man of nomadic nature with a passion for travel, Tony adventures from place to place but is looking forward to calling St. David his home for the charter season. With prior experience on smaller boats, Tony welcomes the challenge aboard his first super yacht."

Ben Willoughby, deckhand

"Born and raised on the Gold Coast of Australia, deckhand Ben Willoughby is a self-described 'ocean child at heart.' Inspired by a childhood friend's yachtie lifestyle, Ben first took to the high seas in 2020 when he joined a mega yacht crew in France. Combining his passion for fitness with his love of the water, Ben has worked as both a deckhand and personal trainer on yachts for the past three years. A social guy who firmly believes 'a Pina Colada is always a good decision,' Ben is eager to bring the party onboard. This thrill-seeking Aussie is determined to stand out on the deck of the St. David."

Hayley De Sola Pinto, stew

"Hailing from Cornwall, England, charismatic new stew Hayley De Sola Pinto is excited to cruise the Caribbean waters. During most of the year, Hayley is an advanced aesthetics practitioner for her self-built business Classen Aesthetics. Her love of travel and meeting new people has led her to work on and off yachts since she was 23. With her humor and empathetic personality, Hayley specializes in making charter guests feel welcome and at home on St. David. However, her admittedly loud and over-the-top personality often gets her into the mix of drama onboard."

Katie Glaser, deckhand

"Deckhand Katie Glaser first fell in love with the glamorous and fast-paced yachting industry when she moved from Colorado to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Since starting her boating career as a stew three years ago, Katie has built an extensive resume as a deckhand and first mate on a variety of yachts. While Katie has worked in different corporate fields, including IT recruiting, account management and beverage sales, she has always had an affinity for the service industry. Katie spends nearly as much time in the water as she does on it, being a fan of snorkeling, wakeboarding and swimming. Always up for an adventure, this extroverted yachtie is eager to prove she has what it takes."

Alissa Humber, stew

"A born and bred Floridian, Alissa Humber found herself diving headfirst into yachting just over two years ago. Now residing in Miami, Alissa spends her time working as a stew on temporary yacht jobs. During the off season, Alissa loves to shop and is enamored by the gorgeous, colorful fashion in her city. She also embraces nature and enjoys kayaking or hiking in the Sunshine State. Working as a stew aboard St. David, Alissa prides herself on pleasing the charter guests and ensuring they have the best time onboard. However, when conflict emerges between her and another stew, tensions rise amongst the entire crew."

Camille Lamb, deckhand/stew

"Coming from a family of merchant mariners, boating has always been in Camille’s blood. With sailing experience since she was 9, Camille is a natural-born yachtie with a love for the water, the beach and traveling. An avid singer and songwriter as well, Camille competed on American Idol last year. Upon her elimination, Camille found herself lost and returned to her roots on the water. With just her sailing experience from childhood, Camille secured a position on a day-charter yacht in the Virgin Islands. Since then, Camille has had more formal yachting training under her belt with work experience in Miami and Los Angeles. Camille joins St. David this season working both on deck and inside the yacht as a deck/stew, but when she's split between the two departments, she loses motivation on board."

Below Deck season 10 airs on Mondays on Bravo, with new episodes streaming on Peacock the next day in the US and on Hayu in the UK.

Screen Rant

Below deck season 11: signs ben willoughby will fail as bosun (he doesn't have what it takes).

Below Deck season 11's Ben Willoughby has been promoted to Bosun after Jared Woodin was fired, but he won't succeed in the position with his past.

  • Ben is overconfident and lacks the experience needed to handle the role of Bosun on Below Deck season 11.
  • Ben's relationship with Sunny could cloud his judgment and lead to mistakes in his leadership position.
  • Ben tends to meddle in interior drama, which may get him into trouble as he takes on more responsibilities as interim Bosun.

Below Deck season 11’s Ben Willoughby has been promoted from Lead Deckhand to Bosun after Jared Woodin was fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge, but it seems like he won’t be able to handle the job . Ben, who was first introduced on Below Deck season 10 as a Deckhand, spent the majority of his first charter season feeling uncertain about his performance and trying to chase a boatmance that didn’t work. When he returned for Below Deck season 11 , there weren’t high hopes about what his time on the St. David would look like, but Captain Kerry gave him a chance.

After working as a Deckhand for part of Below Deck season 10, Ben was promoted to the Lead Deckhand aboard the St. David. Coming back for the current season of the series, he returned to his role, but clearly felt he was working at a higher level than Bosun Jared, who he’s consistently spent his time correcting on the series. After Jared was fired on the most recent episode of Below Deck season 11, Captain Kerry asked Ben to pick up the position of Bosun. Though it may only be temporary, Ben will not be able to handle the position .

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Ben is overconfident, he’s not that experienced.

During his time on Below Deck season 10 , Ben proved that he was overconfident in himself and has continued to be in the current season of the series. Ben’s attitude has been difficult to spot at times because he comes off as a very personable, relaxed member of the crew. His charm and charisma make his false confidence difficult to spot, but it’s clear that there are moments where Ben is simply too big for his britches on the St. David. Throughout his time on Below Deck season 11, Ben has been convinced he can do better work than Jared.

Ben, who only has about five years' worth of yachting experience, has been working hard to improve his skills so he can be at the top of his game. Though he has definite potential, Ben’s lack time in the industry is sometimes overshadowed by his sense of confidence in his work. While his work ethic is good and he seems to be able to do the basics with ease, there are things Ben has yet to learn in the world of superyachts, and his overconfidence in being able to handle being the Bosun of the St. David could cost him .

Ben's Relationship With Sunny Will Cloud His Judgment

His boatmance will lead to mistakes.

Throughout Below Deck season 10, Ben was looking to strike up a boatmace as he’d found himself interested in Deckhand/Stew Camille Lamb. While Ben wasn’t looking for anything serious, his attraction to Camille was something that took him by surprise and felt real in the moment. The pair wound up meeting each other after the charter season, as Camille was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn, and began a relationship that fizzled out. At the beginning of Below Deck season 11, Ben shared he wasn’t interested in getting into another boatmance , but that was before he met Marie “Sunny” Marquis.

Ben and Sunny’s relationship has been slowly growing throughout the first several episodes of Below Deck season 11. While Sunny works on the exterior with Ben, things have been heating up in the interior of the St. David between the two. After a recent crew night out, Ben and Sunny wound up spending the night together in his bunk, but after his promotion, things could change between the pair. Though their relationship may not be something either of them is taking seriously, Ben and Sunny’s connection could cloud his judgment and lead him to make serious mistakes as a Bosun.

Ben Will Let Leadership Role Get To His Head

He’s been given more power than he can handle.

Although Ben is excited about the chance to have some major responsibility aboard the St. David, his leadership role will surely get to his head. Ben has spent his career as a yachtie working beneath a manager, not just a Captain. While the vessel’s Captain is the leader of the crew, the Bosun and the Chief Stew manage the rest of their staff to keep things running smoothly. Throughout his yachting career, Ben has been either a Deckhand or a Lead Deckhand. This means while he has been the go-to person on the Deck team, he hasn’t had managerial experience .

Not only does the Bosun have to have managerial experience to take care of the team, but they also need to essentially be able to perform the Captain’s duties to take the overnight on the vessel while the Captain rests. Ben, who has had some experience working with Jared and others in the past navigating, is entirely unprepared to take on the responsibility of the entire superyacht and the charter guests. Despite appearing he can be successful, B en isn’t ready to be in charge , and the fact that he is interim Bosun will give him another layer of false confidence.

Ben Meddles In Interior Drama

He doesn’t need to be part of their issues.

Though Ben works primarily in the exterior of the St. David, he’s been known to get involved in the drama brewing between stews on the interior. Ben, who rarely has drama out on the deck with his fellow Deckhands, has meddled in interior Stew drama more than once during his time on Below Deck. Throughout the last season of the series, Ben had a difficult time separating himself from the drama between Camille and Alissa Humber, who butted heads beneath Fraser Olender’s guidance. While Ben wasn’t directly involved, he stirred the pot often and made it clear he was invested.

During Below Deck season 11, Ben has already been involved in some of the drama between Barbie Pascual and Cat Baugh . While both women have seemed to work through their issues and Cat has now left the St. David entirely, Ben was a pot stirrer in their drama early on, telling Barbie that Cat had talked about her behind her back. Fraser tried to speak to Ben about his behavior, but it’s clear that the interim Bosun simply likes to be involved in the drama . For Below Deck ’s Ben, his meddling could get him into trouble in his new position.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo, then streams the following day on Peacock.

Below Deck is a popular reality TV franchise that focuses on a group of crew members as they work on luxurious yachts and cater to their client's needs. After the original series proved to be a success, Bravo developed a handful of spinoff shows including Below Deck Selling Yacht, Below Deck Adventure, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Mediterranean.

Below Deck Lost Two Crew Members In One Episode, And As A Fan I’m Honestly Shocked This Isn’t The First Time That Happened

This week saw a few castaways from the St. David crew.

Pictured in this screengrab: Jared Woodin

Well, it looks like there's a little more wiggle room down in the crew quarters of the St. David. That's because this week's episode of Below Deck (which you can catch up on with a Peacock subscription ) saw the shocking early departure of not one but two onboard staffers. However, what's even more surprising is that this isn't the first time that's happened in Bravo's yacht-focused reality franchise.

After that widely despised eighth season of Below Deck Mediterranean , it looks like the O.G. Below Deck decided to fire up the engines where the drama's concerned for Season 11, with both bosun Jared Woodin and stew Cat Baugh ending their charter seasons earlier. However, only one of those early exits was voluntary.

Joining a long line of fired Below Deck crew—including Captain Sandy's number one hater Hannah Ferrier , accidental mustard-gas concocter Elizabeth Frankini and the exhaustingly argumentative Lexi Wilson , among many others—Jared Woodin was fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge due to bad behavior in the March 18th episode on the 2024 TV schedule , titled "Cat's Out of the Bag." Jared's dismissal came after he drunkenly barged into a crew cabin and berated deckhand Kyle Stillie for spilling loose tobacco near the boat's hot tub.

During the episode, Captain Kerry said this about Jared's inappropriate, over-the-top reaction and poor treatment of his crewmate:

This is the second time you've gone on the piss and you've had bad behavior. You're in a leadership role. You can't be acting like that. You gotta be above the fray. The way that you're treating these guys is not acceptable, and we've had discussions, and I've tried to guide you, I've shown you compassion. But, you've got shit going on, mate. You're your own worst enemy right now. You need to depart the vessel.

The Aussie captain was sympathetic, however, to the mental struggles Jared was clearly going through, and he told him that remaining on the boat would be "a disservice" to his mental health.

The topic of having a "good headspace" while working onboard also came up for Cat Baugh, whose own unexpected departure came after the stewardess received a distressing call from a friend back home in America. Deciding to put her own mental health first and go be there for her friend, Baugh put in her resignation with chief stew Fraser Olender and Captain Kerry, both of whom were supportive of her decision. Baugh said of her exit:

I wish I could have stayed. But, the thing is, there's no way I could have. This is too much. I need to be with the people [who] need me, and also, on this boat, I'm at a breaking point. I need to protect my mental health. It's like my support system is at home, not here.

Losing two crew members in one episode is surprising, sure, but not unprecedented. On Below Deck Down Under , the Aussie spin-off of the reality series, bosun Luke Jones was fired by Captain Jason Chambers for drunken misconduct after trying to get in a stew's bed naked while she was inebriated and unconscious. Shortly after, stew Laura Bileskalne's contract was also terminated for making repeating unwanted advances on a male deckhand. Below Deck veteran Lee Rosbach praised Chambers's "superb" handling of the crew misconduct.

So, as you can see, while this situation was shocking to many, it's by no means the first time it's happened.

Despite the two exits, there's still plenty more Below Deck to go, so tune in to Season 11 on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo to see if there will be any more crew shake-ups aboard the St. David .

Below Deck Experiences Double Departure Drama

I n the latest episode of Below Deck, the luxury yacht St. David faced a double crew departure that sent shockwaves through the vessel and its viewers. Captain Kerry Titheradge took decisive action, resulting in the dismissal of two crew members for distinct reasons, marking a dramatic turn of events for the season.

The first crew member to depart was Bosun Jared Woodin, whose dismissal came after a series of unprofessional incidents. Captain Kerry’s decision stemmed from Jared’s inappropriate behavior, including an incident where he confronted fellow crew members while intoxicated. The captain emphasized that Jared’s actions were unacceptable, particularly given his leadership role on the yacht. Moreover, Kerry noted concerns about Jared’s mental well-being, highlighting the need for him to focus on self-improvement outside of the yacht’s environment.

Jared, acknowledging his personal challenges, gracefully accepted his termination, recognizing that his current state wasn’t conducive to his role on the yacht. His departure underscored the importance of prioritizing mental health and self-awareness in high-pressure environments.

Additionally, Stew Cat Baugh voluntarily left the yacht due to personal struggles that had affected her performance throughout the season. Despite her desire to continue, Cat recognized the toll her circumstances were taking on her well-being and chose to prioritize her mental health.

Chief Stew Fraser Olender demonstrated empathy and understanding toward Cat’s decision, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing her health above all else. His support for Cat’s decision highlighted the crew’s commitment to each other’s well-being amidst the challenges of yacht life.

As the crew navigates the aftermath of these unexpected departures, viewers are left wondering how the dynamics onboard will shift in response to these significant changes. The double departure serves as a reminder of the complexities and pressures inherent in life at sea, as well as the importance of resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.

With the departure of two key crew members, the remaining yachties must band together to maintain the smooth operation of the St. David and navigate the challenges that lie ahead. As the season progresses, viewers will undoubtedly witness the crew’s resilience and determination to overcome obstacles and deliver an exceptional yachting experience, despite the setbacks they face along the way.
