YACHT MAIN DECK

The main deck aft offers a huge sofa lounge area and an alfresco dining table, sitting 8 people. Spacious and luxurious, this can be the centre of your alfresco entertainment on your luxury charter holiday. The interior of the main deck features a large lounge sofa area and a marvellous wooden dining table, capable of sitting all 12 guests in comfort and luxury.

Always full of daylight, thanks to the large hull windows, the main deck salon will be an excellent place for an air-conditioned lunch, when the sun reaches its zenith. The galley is masterfully equipped, with top-of-the-line appliances and ample fridge space, guaranteeing longer cruising time without resupplying. The main foyer provides access to a day head and entrance to the VIP stateroom.

Yacht Charter Accommodation: The VIP stateroom

Forward from the foyer, the VIP stateroom features a gorgeous walk-in bathroom, with an abundance of daylight, coming in through enormous windows. The separate VIP study area is perfect for unexpected work sessions or during your luxury charter holiday.

The VIP stateroom features lavish decor, with wooden and gold finishings, complete with mirrors and windows, giving it a sense of openness and spaciousness. Featuring double sinks, a shower and a separate large bathtub, the VIP ensuite is luxurious and full of daylight, thanks to bulk hull windows.

YACHT UPPER DECK

The upper alfresco aft deck features a dining area and a large U-shaped sofa arrangement. Linking directly to it, is the upper deck Master suite, a glorious feat of interior yachting design.

The master suite has traces of navy-blue fabric finishing and an overall polished look, thanks to dark wood that covers most of the wall surfaces. With stylised décor, the master looks like an instrument, ready to be played by a virtuoso musician. The king-size berth stands in the middle of the cabin, providing easy access from every direction and opening the suite to unrestricted movement.

Full of features, the master suite boasts an office table, a comfortable leather sofa for 2 and a lobby, connecting the suite to the bridge and the captain`s quarters. A huge en suite, with a marble jacuzzi tub and a separate rainfall shower, will satisfy even the highest hygienic standards.

Vanity-wise, the master stateroom provides a walk-in wardrobe and a separate dressing room, perfect for preparing your finest attire before a glamorous dining experience. The forward-facing second sundeck, in front of the wheelhouse, features a wonderful sitting arrangement, beneath the jacuzzi on the sundeck where you can relax with your better half with a glass of your favourite Croatian wine.

YACHT SUNDECK

The sundeck invites all guests to relax under the sun, with a bar covered with a bimini, a hot-tub jacuzzi and lots of sunbathing space. The jacuzzi faces forward, so you can enjoy looking at your destination from afar, as you cruise closer and closer to it. There is even a day head on the flybridge. This means that all guests, either when relaxing or partying on the sun deck, do not have to go all the way to their cabins to reach the bathroom.

Stocked full of sunbathing space, with comfortable cushions, loungers, movable furniture and smooth surfaces, the sundeck is a perfect spot for sun lovers in search of that bronze tan. The sundeck is also where the main alfresco dining table is located, able to seat 12 people. YACHT LOWER DECK

The lower deck cabins on REVE D’OR yacht charter are expressions of style, elegance and exclusivity, satisfying a wide variety of aesthetic tastes. REVE D’OR can comfortably accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins, 4 of which are located on the lower deck. The entrances to the lower deck cabins are designed in such a way as to provide the maximum distance between berths in each cabin.

Add to that the fact that only the best and most expensive soundproof materials were used in constructing the dividers between cabins, and you get spaces that are totally soundproofed, as well as far away as possible from one another.

The twin cabins feature a generous amount of closet and shelf space, complete with a lavish ensuite and comfortable berths. Ian was born and raised in Portsmouth, England. Life at sea was inevitable, with both of his parents serving in the British Royal Navy. Ian started his sailing career at school and gained experience quickly, resulting in his first skipper job at the young age of 20, sailing from the UK to the south of Spain. Since then, his skills and experience have been in great demand in the yachting industry. With a lifetime of knowledge and a calm, welcoming manner; Ian is always happy to chat and share a few anecdotes with guests on the bridge - with a surprising amount of humour! Ian looks forward to welcoming you on board Reve D’Or and he hopes to make your stay an enjoyable one. Languages: English

Jarryd was born and raised in Durban, South Africa His love for boats has led him into the world of yachting. He started his career as a deckhand and made his way up to the rank of the first mate. He is a professional and finds himself the happiest while onboard.

Alanis comes from England and she is 23 years old. She comes from a cooking family. She discovered her passion for cooking in her early childhood. When she grew up she opened her own baking business which took her into yachting. She is very motivated and eager to make the best food for her guest and crew members.

Keith has been onboard yachts as engineer and chief engineer since 2012. He worked mostly on yachts. 50+ meters and has great experience. Keith is Reve D’Or’s secret gem! In his spare time he enjoys photography, gym, home renovating/ landscaping, hiking, camping, water sports, cycling, running.

Aleksandra had been working in hospitality for many years, before joining the yachting industry and is very passionate about her career. She looks forward to welcoming you on board and making your stay as exciting as possible. Aleksandra speaks Polish & English fluently and fosters a great passion for travelling while exploring local cultures and cuisines. She enjoys meeting new people and is a very fun person to be around. Languages: English, Polish

Dina is Russian. She has recently became a Stewardess and joined M/Y REVE D’OR. Very professional and always with a smile on her face, Dina is a perfect stewardess to cruise with. She speaks Russian & English and enjoys spending time in nature with her dog. Languages: English, Russian

Michaella was born in Washington, the capital of the USA. Although she is the youngest member of the crew, she is a fast learner and a multi-tasker. As an enthusiastic and very organised person, she supports the chief stewardess in all duties. Michaella also has excellent communication skills, brings great energy and loves working onboard. Justin joins us from the UK on his second full yacht season onboard M/Y REVE D’OR. He brings his youth & sailing/water sports experience to our yacht, always happy to assist and share advice with our guests. Justin is looking forward to meeting new people, learning new languages and he is very happy to be a part of a successful charter team. In his free time he enjoys travelling and exploring new places. MEET THE CREW

Meet Captain Dirk and Captain/Chef Sandy DeLo and share in their passion for boating, fun and adventure!

After receiving his Ph.D. from Columbia University, Dirk started his career in education, ultimately working his way into the field of technology.  His land-based career offered him the opportunity to work in locations around the globe such as Switzerland, Brazil and China.  His last post before casting off the dock lines was serving as Chief Technology Officer for a New York City based global education company.

Dirk started sailing solo at 5 years old, crossed the Pacific Ocean from LA to Honolulu at 14 as part of a racing crew, and has been leading yacht charters around the world for over 25 years!  

Some of his favorite destinations are French Polynesia and the British Virgin Islands which he first visited in 1981. He is an avid water sports enthusiast and will be happy to lead you on SCUBA dives in the best locations, snorkeling, tubing, wake boarding, knee boarding, kayaking, SUPing, deep sea fishing, and even provide an introduction to kite boarding. 

Dirk also has a Mavic Pro drone aboard and will be happy to record breathtaking footage of your vacation aboard Catatonic.

Captain Dirk is a highly experienced US Coast Guard certified 100 Ton Master Captain, PADI Divemaster and an award-winning bartender who loves to mix up craft cocktails for the guests!  

Captain/Chef Sandy began sailing in college and has never looked back! She loves entertaining and introducing people to the seafaring lifestyle.  Prior to taking to the ocean, she, too led the Corporate life, having worked Internationally in Australia, Italy, London and Thailand.  She spent 25 years on Wall Street in technology in executive roles for a Fortune 100 Firm and a few extra years as a Management Consultant.  These experiences have played in to the professionalism she brings to managing her galley and understanding the needs and desires of guests on board.

Sandy has been cooking since the age of 10 and she loves to get creative in the galley and serve up tasty snacks and beautiful meals to the guests.  In addition to serving as Chef aboard, Sandy is also a PADI Divemaster and a USCG Certified 100 Ton Master Captain with blue water experience on the high seas.  Some of Sandy’s favorite spots are the Virgin Islands (especially Waterlemon Cay!) and the Exuma Islands of the Bahamas.  

In 2007, with hired crew aboard, Dirk and Sandy started offering charters in the Virgin Islands aboard the first “Yacht Catatonic,” a Lagoon 440.  In 2013, they deepened their commitment to yachting, adding a 38’ day charter motor yacht based in New York to the fleet.  2015 brought a second motor yacht operating day charters on Long Island Sound and the charter operation was running in full swing.

Catatonic 440 enjoyed a reputation as one of the most popular, most fun and busiest charter sailing yachts in the US and British Virgin Islands for ten years. Sadly, Catatonic 440 was lost in Hurricane Irma but gave way to ownership of Catatonic 500, a gorgeous 2011 Lagoon 500.  Sandy and Dirk proudly operated Catatonic 500, themselves, in the Virgin Islands in the Winter and Spring seasons and in New England in Summer.  

In the fall of 2021, Sandy and Dirk purchased the amazing 2017 Lagoon 620 Essence, Le Rêve, where their professional background, intimate knowledge of sailing, experience in hospitality and history in the marine industry combine to provide the penultimate experience for their charter guests.

VIRGIN ISLANDS, CARIBBEAN

Our primary cruising grounds are the US and British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.  The waters are crystalline blue and the sand is white and pristine between your toes.  Both the US and British Virgin Islands offer beautiful anchorages, great restaurants, spectacular SCUBA diving and fun places to hike and explore.  The British Virgin Islands has a fun beach bar vibe that can't be beat!

LEEWARD ISLANDS, CARIBBEAN

Many of our repeat guests want to check our something new and charter with us in the Leeward Islands of St Maarten St Barth's, Saba and Anguilla.  Here, the islands are dripping with international flavor.  St Maarten's  French and Dutch heritage is at the forefront, St Barth's oozes with "trés chic" French culture and the tiny, resilient island of Saba shouts out its Dutch island history.

NEW ENGLAND

Yet another area to explore is the Northeastern shore of the US.  From July through early September, we charter in New England, offering visits to Newport, Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island, Nantucket and more.  The scenery ranges from quaint grey-shingled seaside homes on the Elizabeth Islands to to the stately mansions in Edgartown Harbor.  View the mega yachts docked in Nantucket Harbor, one of the US most pre-eminent yachting locations.  Enjoy the deicious on-board fare or make a reservation to eat ashore at one of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard's 5 star restaurants.  Wherever you dine, make sure that New England Lobster is on the menu!

EXUMA and ABACOS, BAHAMAS

Married in the out-islands of the Bahamas in 2002, the Abacos feel like a second home to us.  Chartering there allows our guests yet another option and fun places to explore.  The Exumas are also a favorite cruising ground.  The amazing waters and beaches of the Bahamas are second to non!  The Bahamas is best visited in the Summer when we are headed back to New England.  Check out our Bahamas itinerary here.

Exiled russian oligarch’s 257’ superyacht amaryllis seen towed through palm beach.

The 257’ superyacht Amaryllis apparently owned by exiled Russian oligarch Andrey Borodin was towed past Palm Beach, FL on Friday morning, according to a visual account by CorpGov .

The yacht, whose owner is frequently cited as Mr. Borodin by enthusiast publications, moved slowly through the Lake Worth lagoon where bridges were raised for its passage. A towboat with flashing lights about 150 feet ahead pulled the Amaryllis , built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2011.

While CorpGov could not officially confirm Mr. Borodin as the owner of the vessel, his wife, socialite Tatiana Korsakova, has posted dozens of Instagram photos and videos aboard the Amaryllis. A yacht broker interviewed by CorpGov confirmed that Ms. Korsakova is indeed aboard the Amaryllis in the photos and videos.

The sighting comes as billions of dollars in Russian-owned yachts have been seized around the world as a result of international sanctions. CNN has published an extensive list of seized vessels, which were taken in harbor cities including Mallorca, Spain and London.

However, it is unclear if the Amaryllis was being seized or voluntarily towed. Very large yachts often choose to be towed because bridges are required to raise for them, according to the yacht broker.

The former Bank of Moscow chief was granted political asylum in the UK in February 2013 after fleeing what he alleged to be politically-motivated fraud and embezzlement charges. Mr. Borodin would go on to be tried and convicted in abstentia in Russian Court in 2018, but not before managing to enlist a number of prominent American lawmakers to lobby Washington for a U.S. visa. Despite Russian extradition requests to the UK government, Borodin’s controversial attempts to make large donations to the NHS, and the uncovering of an assassination plot against his life, the fugitive banker remains overseas, having been granted access to his Swiss bank accounts and having made several notable London real estate purchases during his time in exile.

Mr. Borodin is widely listed as a billionaire, but his total wealth remains difficult to confirm accurately, with the governments of Switzerland and the Bahamas having been asked to help the Russian government in its legal case. In 2012, Borodin purchased the UK’s then-most expensive home, an 80-hectare 18th-century estate in Oxfordshire, for upwards of $217 million. In 2017 he was granted access to personal Swiss accounts holding a reported $378 million. The Amaryllis was purchased for a reported $120 million.

Mr. Borodin did not immediately respond to an emailed query from CorpGov , while the FBI declined to comment. An emailed query to The Department of Homeland Security was not returned.

The 5th edition of the International exhibition of yachts and boats –  Moscow Boat Show , held from March 20 to 25, 2012 will be hosted by the first pavilion of Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This popular show is dedicated not only to the specialists of the market segment and professional sportsmen but also to those who consider sailing sport to be their hobby and well cherished dream.

The project is the result of joint efforts of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre and the National Marine Industry Association. The event is supported by Aston Martin Moscow, Burevestnik Group logistics department and the Yachting specialized magazine. Moscow Boat Show is the largest project in Russia presenting all the best in the world of yachting.

The exhibition annually shows high level of attendance and has already proved as significant and noteworthy event in the world of yachts and boats. Every year new exhibitors join the list of participants, genuine “sharks” of yachting business, the quantity of visitors considerably increases and the exposition becomes more sated and diverse.

The best companies professionally involved into yachting and small navigation business – 180 exhibitors from 17 regions of the Russian Federation and 15 countries traditionally presented the best and the newest in the world of yachting at 2011 edition: from design and facilitation of vessels and up to cruising and training courses for beginning skippers. In 2011 the overall exhibit space comprised 18 000 sq m. More than 25 000 visitors came to the show.

This year the exposition space will increase up to 30 000 sq m and will be accommodated in 4 exhibition halls. The scale of the project confirms confident positions of its positive development. The organizers will try to arrange a genuine fiesta of water on land!

Quite a number of foreign exhibitors will participate in the show. Foreign companies show increasing interest to yachting business in Russia.

Moscow Boat Show provides the perfect platform from which to preview new products, evaluate market trends, and establish long-lasting and commercially profitable partnerships. Despite the dynamic changes taking place in Russia and the rapid growth of the yachting sector, the show continues to complement and reflect the industry’s demand and is a promotional opportunity not to be missed!

As its popularity and success rate has grown over the last years Moscow Boat Show 2012 has developed to incorporate more than just an exhibition. These special events serve to attract leading exhibitors and visitors and allow all participants the chance to broaden their knowledge and of course their sales potential.

Moscow Boat Show helps representatives of yachting business to get acquainted with their Russian colleagues and gradually improves national yachting market to a new level. It is obvious that for 4 years of its running the project has turned to a status event of the international exhibitions calendar. The organizers of the exhibition aim to bring together on the same platform all key national and worldwide players and to offer an excellent platform to encourage networking among specialists and visitors in order to accelerate the development in this field as well as implementing new technologies, the newest equipment, materials and components.
