Mystery 30 Mk II

Peter Thomas says, “The original Mystery 30, previously known as the Link 30, was designed as a Racer / Cruiser with potential ‘One Design’ characteristics. The market for this type of boat has been slim pickings for a number of years but we have found a small niche for short-handed cruisers in search of a pretty little cruising yacht with a comfortable and homely interior. In effect, the Mystery 30 MKII has everything – she is fast, stable and responsive making her an ideal coastal and offshore 4 berth cruiser and racer, but without compromise on living comforts.”

The Mystery 30 MKII will create a small nucleus that may one day become a One Design Class because she has the makings of a modern day Sigma 33 or Impala 28 but without the need for a large crew to hold her upright. Her 14hp inboard diesel engine provides fast cruising speeds under power and the ability to drive effortlessly and comfortably into a head sea.

Mystery 30 mkII Review

Mystery 30 mkll is a relaunch of a classically styled design from David Thomas that now has a homely interior to make this a comfortable cruiser as well as a slippery short handed race boat with one design potential.

She has comfortable berths for four and a full fi t out with galley and heads, plus a 14hp inboard to get you into harbour even in a stiff head sea. She will be available in classic Mystery blue to make her further stand out in the marina or on the mooring.
