The 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 Trailer Is Here: Watch!

Season 3 of the series is returning Monday, Feb. 21.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for season 3 with new and familiar faces and sea-level chaos! In the latest trailer for the hit Bravo series, Captain Glenn Shephard is back on the epic Parsifal III,  sailing across the beautiful waters in Menorca, Spain.

“When you go sailing, you never really know what the conditions are going to be like,” Captain Shephard says at the beginning of the trailer before the preview of the chaos aboard the luxury yacht plays out.  

Returning this season are chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. Joining the vets on board the yacht are a few new faces, chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson. 

From the looks of it, this season is set to bring all the action and drama as the crew manages to navigate various hookups (and makeout sessions), power struggles, injuries and a storm that looks like it could take the boat underwater.  

In the new trailer, we see that Tom, who isn’t ashamed of showing off his self-proclaimed “dad bod,” is bringing the body shots, and Gabriela, who braves the elements and topples over in the hot tub, is bringing the fun. Meanwhile, Gary is bringing the romance and a “striptease,” and Daisy is all about a fabulous party -- all while managing the expectations of the guests who board the yacht. 

However, the season isn’t going to be without some serious drama as the yacht faces strong winds and a storm that could possibly send it underwater, and Chef Marcos gets a severe head injury that could leave the crew without a head chef.  

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premieres Monday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have been anxiously awaiting news about Season 3. The second season of the Below Deck spin-off was beyond entertaining and completely revamped the show.

Captain Glenn Shephard helms the sailing show, with Parsifal III serving as the vessel. There’s no question the captain and sailing yacht are staples for Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Last summer Daisy Kelliher, Gary King, and Colin MacRae were spotted filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3. The three Season 2 alums are back and better than ever.

Chef Marcos Spaziani steps into the galley. Daisy’s interior team includes newbies second stew Gabriela Barragan third stew Ashley Marti, while Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson join Gary on deck.

Four returning crew members, including Captain Glenn and five newcomers, will certainly make life on Parsifal III very interesting.

Now for the good news. Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 premieres on Monday, February 21 at 8/7c on Bravo. Yes, the network is keeping Summer House at 9/8c on Mondays airing the sailing show in the new Below Deck time slot.

Bravo gave Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans a first look at Season 3 when revealing the show’s premiere date. Crew hookups explode all over Parsifal III featuring partner swapping, love triangles, and make-out session fans never saw coming.

Daisy has her hands full with her new interior crew as resentment between Gabriela and Ashley builds. Chef Marcos struggles to please the guests with his cooking. Plus, an injury Marcos sustains just might end his time on Parsifal III.

Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht featured a major boat crash. The crew faces another potentially crippling accident in Season 3. When Parsifal III is dragging anchor, everyone’s safety onboard the sailing yacht is in grave danger.

“You can lose the boat. It’s about as serious as it gets,” Captain Glenn shares in the first-look preview.

All aboard!  Below Deck Sailing Yacht   is about to set sail with a brand new crew of sprightly yacht pros. This season, the hit Bravo reality series will coast through the clear waters of Menorca, Spain, debuting with a supersized premiere episode in just under a month. Beginning in February, you’ll be getting new episodes of  Below Deck Sailing Yacht  weekly.

Captain Glenn Shephard is back aboard Parsifal III in Season 3 of the series. Alongside him is returning chief stew Daisy Kelliher , chief engineer Colin MacRae, and first mate Gary King. We’ll also be introduced to some new faces, so get ready to meet chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

This season, Bravo has teased that Daisy and Gary will leave their arguments behind them as they “bring their relationship into uncharted waters.” Further, as Daisy attempts to keep her stations clean, her team begins to threaten the hierarchy of the boat as resentments grow between the stews. Chef Marcos isn’t used to cooking at sea, and while he attempts to maintain the same standard of excellence he knows on land, everything seems to be falling out of his hands.

“ With a twisted love pentagon, a litany of gruesome injuries and a dangerous, potentially vessel-crippling accident that threatens the safety of everyone on board, this is  Parsifal III ’s most epic charter season yet,” Bravo writes.

Did the drama continue?

Since it debuted back in 2020, Bravo’s spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht has certainly delivered some of the most dramatic feuds and steamy boatmances, and it looks as if Season 3 is no different.

While Captain Glenn Shephard is returning to take the lead of the Parsifal III, there’s a lot that’s changed, including a brand new crew and filming location. The cast will be sailing through the stunning waters of Menorca, Spain, but they’ll definitely be hitting some rocky moments, especially when it comes to returning crew members Gary and Daisy’s love-hate romance.

Well, it seems as if there’s more to come as Bravo teases one of the most unexpected crew hookups in Below Deck history. Say what? With so much having happened during the cast’s filming last summer, what exactly have they been up to since?

Daisy kelliher - chief stew.

When Season 3 wrapped, Daisy Kelliher, who returned aboard the Parsifal III as chief stew, took some much-needed vacation time. Kelliher hit up Antigua in the Caribbean , which is where she rang in the New Year and has remained since filming. Considering her ongoing love-hate relationship with fellow castmate Gary King, Daisy remains single for the time being, but she’s certainly not fallen out of love with traveling. Despite appearing to be living the life so many wish they could, Daisy revealed she’s been suffering from severe separation anxiety as she shared just how hectic and demanding her line of work could be in a February 13, 2022 post on Instagram

Gary King - First Officer

Being involved in Bravo drama is nothing new for Gary, especially after his steamy season with Daisy. Well, after wrapping up season three in Menorca, Gary took some time off to reunite with his family; sharing an adorable photo of him and his niece, Ava , on Instagram. The Bravo star is currently in St. Lucia , soaking up the sun, but he hasn’t managed to escape the drama. After sharing a kiss with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent season three trailer, fans have been wondering if he and Daisy are an item. Well, despite the rumors, Gary and Daisy aren’t dating, after confirming to E! News that the two are “just friends.”

Colin McRae - Chief Engineer

Colin McRae has returned to his old stomping grounds aboard the Parsifal III, and considering his love for sailing, fans aren’t surprised to see the Bravo star back on their screens. Since wrapping up last summer’s filming, it didn't take too much time before Colin and fellow Chief Stew Daisy reunited back in December. Since then, Colin has given most of his time to his YouTube channel, Sailing Parlay , which features an array of videos showcasing his sailing adventures. Things are clearly going well for Colin’s online presence, considering he was rewarded with a YouTube 100,000 subscriber count plaque back on February 6. "It has been 4 years of VERY hard work, possibly the hardest of any sailing channel out there that I know of so far, and to reach this milestone is so gratifying for us,” he wrote on Instagram.

Marcos Spaziani - Chef

Say hello to Bravo’s newest chef, Marcos Spaziani. The Venezuela native has been in the industry for over 10 years and is bringing his culinary expertise to the waters of Menorca. It didn’t take much time for Marcos to make a name for himself following season three of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Spaziani is currently settled in California and has decided to open up his very own restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Marcos and fellow chef Louis Huh have been working diligently on their newest business venture, ML Eats LA .

Gabriela Barragan - 2nd Stew

Gabriela Barragan reigns from San Diego and while she’s new to the Below Deck crew, she is certainly no stranger to yachting . Barragan has worked as both a stewardess and a deckhand over the course of the last two years and has continued her yachtie life after filming season three of Sailing Yacht . Gabriela spent January and February working a yacht in St. Thomas. After living and working the island life, Gabriela took to Instagram to share that all of her “ wildest dreams are coming true ,” and considering she’s spending her days sailing through crystal clear waters, we don’t blame her.

Ashley Marti - 3rd Stew

Ashley Marti is making her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, and she’s relatively new to the industry. Marti first began working on yachts at the start of the pandemic. Although she reigns from New York , Marti is currently a West Coast gal as she takes in the Los Angeles sun alongside a few of her castmates. Since wrapping up Season 3, Ashley traveled through the United States and the Bahamas and is adamant about returning back aboard the Parsifal III, so Bravo fans just might be seeing more of her in the future.

Kelsi Goglia - Deckhand

Kelsi Goglia is making her Bravo debut this season of Sailing Yacht. After catching the travel bug following a trip to Croatia, Kelsi has been a yachtie ever since, and it doesn’t look like she’s turning back any time soon. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and loves herself some travel, as most Below Deck crew members do. While her romantic life remains a mystery, it’s clear she’s too busy roaming the world to settle down just yet.

Tom Pearson - Deckhand

Growing up on a lake , Tom Pearson is no stranger to the water, but he’s brand new to the Bravo family. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand was spotted getting his boatmance on, making us all wonder if he’ll be headed toward hot waters. Well, it seems as if Pearson remains single, but his life is anything but boring. After returning home to Windermere, England, Tom has kept busy surfing through the British waters but has taken quite a liking to his new image. The Bravo star has been attending a number of events following his newfound fame, including his most recent appearance in London, England for the launch of a new app on January 20.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 - Details We Know So Far

" Below Deck Sailing Yacht ," a reality TV show on Bravo, has been on-air since February 2020. As a spin-off of "Below Deck," it focuses on the crew members of a sailing yacht.

The first season, which took place in Greece, featured Captain Glenn Shephard, Chief Engineer Byron Hissey, First Officer Paget Berry, Chef Adam Glick, Chief Stewardess Jenna MacGillivray, Stewardesses Madison Stalker and Georgia Grobler, and Deckhands Ciara Duggan, Parker McCown, and Christopher Miller (via E! Online ).

Spain was the location of Season 2, with the return of Captain Shephard. New additions to the crew included Colin Macrae as the Chief Engineer, Gary King as the First Officer, Natasha De Bourg as the Chef, Daisy Kelliher as the Chief Stewardess, Dani Soares and Alli Dore as Stewardess, and Sydney Zaruba and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux as Deckhands (via Bravo TV ).

Who will return for a third season, if anyone, and when can fans expect new episodes?

When is Below Deck Sailing Yacht's third season coming?

Many are probably wondering when Season 3 of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht"' will be released. The first season ran from February to May 2020, with the reunion happening on June 1, as seen on Bravo's website . The following season premiered in March 2021, ended on June 14, and the two-part reunion took place on June 21 and 22.

And even though the show only just wrapped up, Bravo fans are serious: They want more drama, and they want it now!

This reality television series usually films during the summer months, so filming could be happening. However, no information has been released on if/when production has started, nor on when Season 3 may air. However, Colin Macy-O'Toole has served as a casting producer for several " Below Deck " series and has stated that he is now working on "Below Deck Sailing Yacht," though he did not reveal concrete details on who could be returning nor when they would be (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet ).

Who will make up the cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3?

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet , Gary King and Natasha de Bourg were asked to continue on the boat's crossing after Season 2 filming stopped late last summer by Captain Glenn Shephard . Then, in June 2021, King even shared an Instagram photo with "the best captain and person," with Greece listed as the tagged locale. Does this mean that these three are guaranteed to be seen in the next season?

Fans would love to see Captain Shephard again, and other fan-favorite speculations include Daisy Kelliher and Colin Macrae. "If Collin and Daisy return to 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' for the third season, the ratings will skyrocket," a fan  tweeted .

Kelliher even received a shoutout from Kate Chastain of "Below Deck" in Us Weekly . She stated, "She's the best chief stew I've seen on the series, and I really respect everything about the way that she's doing it. She's funny, she's great at her job. I'm really impressed with her." According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, though, Kelliher is working as a chief stew on a motor yacht right now.

How does casting for Below Deck Sailing Yacht happen?

Someone who will not return for Season 3 of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" is Sydney Zaruba. On the Dear Diary, You're Effed podcast, she said, "If I do go back, obviously, I'm not gonna go back this season, I don't think, because I already have a job. But I would have to be up for a promotion for an improvement in position for me to go back, I think."

Work conflicts could get in the way, but, in general, how is it decided who will come back for filming and who will not?

That exact question was addressed on a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) by the show's executive producer, Jill Goslicky. "It's a delicate decision that's made between us (the producers), the Captain, and Bravo ," she explained. "A lot of it has to do with what is going on in that person's life at the time. Do they have compelling reasons for their story to continue on in the show? You've seen some instances where cast members take a season off and then come back, for instance. That's because circumstances are suddenly right for them to make a return."

Gary, Daisy, Colin, and Captain Glenn Are Back for 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3

After Season 2 featured plenty of hook-ups, a few COVID-19 scares, and one boat damage incident, Below Deck Sailing Yacht is set to return for a third season in February 2022. The hit Bravo series is a spin-off of Below Deck , and the Parsifal III crew members must navigate boatmances, crew drama, and high-maintenance guests while also dealing with the stresses of working on an active sailing vessel.

The Parsifal III crew members are living and working together in Menorca, Spain in Season 3. A teaser trailer came out on Jan. 24, and it indicated that it will be an absolutely unforgettable charter season.

Like other Below Deck franchises, the Season 3 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht consists of several returners and plenty of new faces. Keep scrolling to find out who is on deck this season.

1. Glenn Shephard (Captain)

One thing that fans of the Below Deck franchise can count on is consistency when it comes to the captains. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is no different, as Captain Glenn is back at the helm for his third season.

2. Daisy Kelliher (Chief Steward)

The Irish interior crew leader is back on Parsifal III for her second season. Though Daisy largely stayed above the fray in terms of the boatmances and drama in Season 2, things are about to change for her.

3. Gary King (Bosun)

While Gary claimed in the trailer that he wouldn't be getting involved in any complicated love situations like he did in his first season on the show, the bosun will be an active participant in a love pentagon on Season 3.

To further make matters awkward, one of the women involved in said love pentagon is Daisy. Will the bosun and the chief stew become a power couple, or will their romance hit the rocks?

4. Colin MacRae (Chief Engineer)

The chief engineer was a fan favorite in Season 2 because of his ability to stir the pot, and it doesn't appear as if anything has changed in the new season.

"I do enjoy a little bit of drama here and there," Colin said in the teaser clip. "It keeps me entertained."

Here's to hoping that Colin will continue to keep things interesting by sharing a bit of harmless crew gossip when needed.

5. Marcos Spaziani (Chef)

The food expert has a full decade of prior experience as a chef, and he trained in his home country of Venezuela. While cooking on a moving sailing vessel is certainly exciting, Marcos is set to open a restaurant in Los Angeles in the near future.

6. Gabriela Barragan (Second Stew)

Gabriela has experience working on both the deck and on the interior team, but she will be Daisy's right-hand woman in Season 3. The San Diego native has been in the yachting industry for about two years.

7. Ashley Marti (Third Stew)

The New Yorker is new to Below Deck Sailing Yacht for Season 3, and she's previously worked on boats in Florida and in the Bahamas. She embarked on a career in the yachting industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

8. Kelsie Goglia (Deckhand)

When Kelsie isn't working on deck, she resides in San Diego. The deckhand is new to the show, and she loves to spend time outside and in the water.

9. Tom Pearson (Deckhand)

The final deckhand grew up surrounded by water, so working on yachts ultimately became the right fit for him. Though Tom is serious about his career, he's also interested in a bit of romance on Season 3.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far

The latest season of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" may have recently ended in June, but fans already can't wait for another season of the "Below Deck" spin-off to set sail. The hit Bravo show follows the professional and personal lives of the crew working on a luxury yacht as they deal with difficult guests and sail exotic waters.

The reality series is relatively new to Bravo , having premiered in February 2020. Season 1 took place in Greece with a crew led by Captain Glenn Shephard . Season 2 added some new faces to the group and sailed through Spain instead.

"Below Deck Sailing Yacht" last left fans with a pretty dramatic Season 2 reunion on June 21 and June 22, according to Us Weekly . During those episodes, the crew not only looked back at what went down the previous season but also answered some pretty intense questions, including ones about the paternity of crew member Dani Soares' baby , which was speculated to be co-star Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux. First mate Gary King was also called out for his treatment of women, as well as his complicated relationship with castmate Alli Dore. With all this drama from just Season 2 of the show, it makes sense why fans wouldn't want to wait to see what else will go down on the yacht during Season 3! So how long will they have to wait to watch the next season on TV?

When will Season 3 premiere?

While Season 2 of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" may have just ended in June, fans are already eager for a new season of the "Below Deck" spinoff. Bravo has yet to confirm that there will be another season of the reality series so there's no official release date for Season 3, nor much word on if production is underway. In past season however, filming has always taken place during the summer months, so that could be happening right now — somewhere out at sea in a foreign country.

Another good sign that Season 3 will happen came from Colin Macy-O'Toole from "Below Deck Mediterranean," who now apparently has a job behind-the-scenes. He told Showbiz Cheat Sheet , "I did the casting for some of the other 'Below Decks.' They asked me to help out, so yeah, I've been a casting producer for 'Below Deck Down Under' and I started '[Below Deck] Sailing [Yacht]' for next season." If there's casting happening, then it's pretty safe to assume that Bravo plans on bringing the show back for another season.

And if it's anything like past seasons , fans can expect to watch Season 3 sometime in February or March 2022. The series usually kicks off in the winter and runs until June. For those who still need to catch up, you can watch "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" on Bravo's website or on the streaming services FuboTV, Sling TV, AT&T TV Now, YouTube TV, or Hulu + Live TV.

Who will be in the cast of Season 3?

Season 3 of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht," could see some familiar faces from Season 2 and, of course, some new ones. If Season 3 is anything like last season then the crew would consist of Captain Glenn Shephard, Colin Macrae, Gary King, Natasha De Bourg, Daisy Kelliher , Dani Soares, Alli Dore, and Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux. Colin Macy-O'Toole, who is working on the casting, teased (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet ) that some of those crew members could return for Season 3.

However, Sydney Zaruba has already confirmed that she won't be coming back. She explained on the podcast " Dear Diary, You're Effed ", "I would always do [the show] again ... If I do go back, obviously I'm not gonna go back this season I don't think because I already have a job." Others who may not be working on the yacht could be Dani and Alli since Dani just became a new mom, welcoming a baby girl in May, and Alli is currently pregnant.

Yet, fans could see Gary and Natasha return since they were asked by Captain Glenn to continue on the boat's crossing even after Season 2 was filmed. Gary also posted a photo with Captain Glenn on a boat in early June (seen above). As for Colin, he could have extra free time to return since splitting with his girlfriend. But fans will have to wait to see!

Captain Glenn Shepherd returns to helm the Parsifal III. This is his fourth season on the series, but he's no stranger to the ship. He's been helming the Parsifal III for over a decade. 

Captain Glenn will be joined once again by Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, first mate Gary King and engineer Colin MacRae. 

New to the series are chef Ileisha Dell, stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera and deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson.

"Capt. Glenn and his comeback team Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin MacRae resume their responsibilities aboard Parsifal III, along with new, dynamic crew members, as they set sail in Sardinia, Italy. Capt. Glenn realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay. 

"In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. The production team on Below Deck was blamed for putting a young athlete in a bad situation.

It’s a matter of life or death in Discovery’s Deadliest Catch . With the recent premiere of Season 20 , the captains are back for another round of crab fishing on the deadly Bering Sea - all for a chance at a lucrative payday. The 59-time Emmy-nominated series offers an exclusive look one could ever dream of. Featuring an unfiltered glimpse into the grueling October king crab and January opilio crab seasons, the series shows that life on deck is not for the faint-hearted.

Many of the show’s vessels have faced their final voyages after years of battling the harsh elements of the sea. These ships, once vital to the survival and success of their crews, have countless stories etched on their hulls. Each vessel reflects the ever-changing landscape of the crab fishing industry , where even the most reliable boats eventually succumb to the relentless nature of their work.

Deadliest Catch (2005)

Captain: jake anderson.

In Season 12, fifth-generation fisherman Jake Anderson took over the captain’s seat of the F/V Saga and gave the vessel a complete makeover. Originally built in 1979 and stretching 107 feet long, the Saga underwent a major transformation under Anderson’s care. He installed a brand new refrigeration system, thoroughly cleaned the fuel and water tanks, completely rebuilt all the boat’s CAT engines, gave the ship a fresh coat of paint with a new color scheme, upgraded the wheelhouse for better efficiency and safety, and overhauled the crane and most of the hydraulic system. Despite facing major challenges, including a loose rudder threatening to sink the ship during a storm 460 miles from the nearest port, the Saga fished one of the largest king crab quotas in the fleet.

However, fans of Deadliest Catch may notice the absence of the F/V Saga in Season 20 . Before the season began, Captain Anderson received some shocking news about his beloved vessel. As he revealed in the premiere, he got a call from his partner saying the Saga was running out of money. After reaching the dock, one of his deckhands showed him a repossession note on the boat. Just like that, after nearly a decade of co-owning the ship, the F/V Saga is no longer his. Upon learning Anderson doesn’t have a boat to work with this season, his mentor Sig Hansen stepped in, offering Anderson a place on his ship , the F/V Northwestern. He then moved on to the Titan Explorer.

6 F/V Destination

On February 11, 2017, the F/V Destination tragically went missing during Season 13 of Deadliest Catch , resulting in the loss of its entire six-member crew, including the fleet’s close friend , Captain Jeff Hathaway . The catastrophe was primarily attributed to the unsafe stability conditions , which included carrying heavier crab pots than those specified in its stability instructions. Moreover, excessive ice accumulation from freezing spray added an estimated 340,000 pounds of weight, throwing the vessel off balance. But what eventually led to the ship’s capsizing was downflooding, the ingress of seawater through submerged openings. The ship ultimately sank and met its demise in a matter of minutes, with very little, if not none, time for the crew to actually react to the situation.

5 F/V Scandies Rose

In Deadliest Catch Season 16, the F/V Scandies Rose faced a heartbreaking fate on 31, 2019, during its journey from Kodiak to the Bering Sea. In the middle of the night, the United States Coast Guard alerted the fleet on water , including Hansen, about a distress call from the Scandies Rose, prompting a desperate, emergency search in freezing weather conditions. Despite their efforts, only two members were rescued, Jon Lawler and Dean Gribble . Unfortunately, Captain Gary Cobban Jr. and four other crew members were still missing. After a 20-hour search covering 1,400 square miles with four helicopter crews, two airplane crews, and the US Coast Guard cutter Mellon, the remaining members were never found.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) concluded that the sinking was primarily due to faulty stability instructions . The instructions lacked essential details about downflooding points and misrepresented sections of the deck space. Additionally, severe freezing spray conditions likely led to ice buildup on the boat, adding weight and destabilizing it. One of the surviving crew members, who had been keeping an eye on the ice accumulation, thought about waking the crew to clear the ice and possibly changing course and speed. However, the captain decided against this due to the hazardous sea conditions.

4 F/V Cornelia Marie

Throughout the first decade of Deadliest Catch , the F/V Cornelia Marie became one of the show’s most cherished vessels. Under the command of the late Captain Phil Harris , the ship has had its moments throughout the series. Just like the other ships, the F/V Cornelia Marie and its crew braved subfreezing temperatures and icy conditions as they raced to make a successful haul during the Opilio season. Unfortunately, the fate of F/V Cornelia Marie took an abrupt pause when Captain Harris suffered a stroke while offloading crabs in 2010, eventually leading to his passing at the age of 53 due to intracranial hemorrhage.

Since then, the F/V Cornelia has made on-again off-again appearances. Eventually, Phil’s son, Josh Harris , along with Captain Casey McManus , managed to acquire the vessel. However, due to Josh’s guilty plea for a 1998 sexual assault case involving a minor , Josh’s ties to Deadliest Catch have been cut off, and Cornelia Marie is now absent from the show due to its connection with Josh.

3 F/V North American

In Season 4 of Deadliest Catch , the F/V North American made a memorable guest appearance, best known for being on the receiving end of a Port-A-Potty prank on the sea . However, on May 16, 2024, the vessel faced a more serious ordeal when it partially sank at a dock in the Lake Washington Ship Canal in Seattle . The incident occurred east of the Ballard Bridge, and the Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound received a distress call early Tuesday morning.

Though the crabber can hold up to 32,500 gallons of diesel, the exact amount onboard at the time was unclear. In response, Seattle Fire and other agencies quickly deployed a containment boom around the vessel to prevent fuel pollution, and a dive team worked to seal the vents to minimize further fuel leakage. While there’s no news yet whether the ship is still able to be restored, chances are any fishing activity on the North American is put to a halt until proper investigations take place.

2 F/V Katmai

Season 5 of Deadliest Catch featured the F/V Katmai, which met a tragic fate on October 21, 2008, when it capsized and sank in the Aleutian Islands , 120 miles from Adak Island. The 93-foot vessel, carrying 11 crew members and 120,000 pounds of frozen cod, was caught in a severe storm, resulting in the loss of steering and progressive flooding as water began entering through open watertight doors. Despite rescue efforts by the Coast Guard, only four crew members, including Captain Henry Blake , survived after enduring over 15 hours on a life raft.

1 F/V Victory

Sophia "Bob" Nielsen , a third-generation fisherwoman, originally captained the F/V Victory when it first appeared on the show in Season 19. The green and white 74-foot wooden vessel was a heirloom passed down to Bob from her family. Sadly, she lost both of her parents before she could even learn crab fishing from her father. Determined to keep their legacy alive, she took on the role of captain for the F/V Victory. Unfortunately, in Episode 13 of Deadliest Catch Season 19, the F/V Victory hit a rough patch. Her vessel collided with a passing ship in the middle of the night , and the generator blew up. Reflecting on her first year with F/V Victory, Bob shares that despite catching nearly 40,000 pounds of crab, she ended up $200,000 in debt because of the mishaps.

In her latest update on the F/V Victory, it seems like the ship is undergoing through some repairs . However, it will probably take some time before it's ready to tackle the tough Bering sea again. Meanwhile, viewers can still catch Bob in action on Season 20 of Deadliest Catch , where she now captains the massive 113-foot F/V Seabrooke, thanks to an offer from family friend Captain Greg Wallace . However, not everyone is happy with Bob suddenly being captain of another vessel, especially since nepotism played a role in Bob allowing her to obtain this opportunity .
