This is one of the best options for sailing in the Bahamas, because our Captain is on board to guide you through the crystal waters by day, stopping to snorkel and enjoy the beautiful beaches, and then leaves you safely moored in a settlement or secluded cove each evening, every night in a different location. Simply put, there’s no better way to have an incredible Bahamas sailing vacation. We also offer day sails with stops at the underwater parks to snorkel, island hop and sight see – a great day on the water! All of our boats are outfitted with solar panels, have well equipped galleys and each is individually decorated to make you feel like you’re at home on a private yacht. All boats carry RIB inflatable dinghies with well-maintained outboards and we stand by 24/7 on VHF for local knowledge, emergencies or operational information whenever you may need to reach us. Our sailing classes will have you learning and living hands on with a licensed Captain who is a ASC Certified Sailing Instructor. Throughout a typical week, charter guests can complete up to three courses gaining any of the following American Sailing certifications:

ASA 114 Cruising Catamaran Course, 101-Basic Keelboat Sailing, 103-Basic Coastal Cruising and 104-Bareboat Cruising.

With over 30 islands, nearly 2400 cays and completely surrounded by clear turquoise water, it truly is a sailor’s paradise! Located just 100 miles off the vibrant Florida coast and a 2-hour flight from New York, you can be relaxing onboard your chosen bareboat sailboat in a world of soft sand beaches, sheltered sailing and secluded coves with relative ease. There are also direct flights from London and Paris which means that it is now even easier to escape the winter blues.

Peak season runs over Christmas and New Year, then the high season runs from January through to the end of May. The mid-seasons are June through to the end of July and October up until Christmas, with the low season falling in between in August and September. The Bahamas does usually offer year-round sunshine and is one of the most popular areas for bareboat charters on the globe! We recommend avoiding the Bahamas during the months of July, August, September, October as this is officially hurricane season .

Nassau is the largest bareboat base in the Bahamas and offers the best infrastructure, provisioning, and accessibility. From Nassau, sail south and explore the stunning Exumas , not forgetting to stop off at Pig Beach.
