Description & Refit's

Built in 1993 by Heesen and meticulously maintained with continuous refits & upgrades – the latest one completed in 2022 - she is a luxurious vessel who has operated all over the world, and proven herself to be an exceptional yacht for her owners, crew and charterers alike.

During her latest multi million euro refit, she underwent extensive upgrades, including the undertaking of a 4m extension of her swim platform, creating a large sea terrace & beach club. A custom passarelle was installed which is also acting as the tender and jetski lift system. The bridge deck saw a 1.5 meter extension allowing for a large socialising space with plenty of room for sunbathing and dining. Other updates saw the installation of a new Jacuzzi, new generators, new 100% electric CMC stabilisers, and an all new digital MPA Tijssen system. A new SCANNER 7.1m tender was also purchased, which can now be stored on the large swim platform.

Brazil accommodates 10 sleeping guests in 5 well appointed and luxurious suites made up by a spacious full beam master, two VIP's and two twin cabins - all with ensuite bathrooms.

Refit history

• 2014 - Extensive refit: Main engines underwent a W6, Generators big overhaul, awlgrip paintjob, teak decks, new stabilizers, new chiller units, general service of all engine room equipment.
• 2016 - Brazil was refurbished with complete new ceiling panels, carpets and all new varnish works. Big mechanical works
• 2018/2019 - New deck furniture, All teak resurfaced, Stern repainted, Bridge equipment upgraded & replaced, New floating dock for paddleboards and jetski, replaced interior flooring, new carpets new Crestron system was installed. Main engine injectors were all taken out, tested and overhauled.
• 2022 - Brazil was extended with 4 meters to accommodate a huge beach club & swim platform, brand new CMC fully electric zero speed stabilisers fitted, extended bridge deck with 1.5 meters creatin big socialising space, brand new Generators Kholer 125Kw, electra refit & new MPA system (Tijssen), new deif units for shore power and generators, new passarelle and tender lifting system.

BRAZIL Yacht for Charter

In 1993, Dutch yard Heesen combined forces with Art-Line Interiors, Gerhard Gilgenast and Richard Hein to create the striking superyacht BRAZIL. She is a 131.3-foot (40m) semi-displacement, aluminum-hulled yacht designed for stylish living and has become highly popular on the charter scene. The luxury motor yacht cruises at 14 knots and can reach 19 knots at top steed. Her range at 15 knots is 2,300 nautical miles. The yacht was refitted in 2016 with the talents of Claudette Bonville, ensuring her interior surpasses expectations. 

Impressive Charter Experiences

Up to 10 guests are invited to sleep in the five luxurious staterooms. For dockside events, BRAZIL can host up to 45 guests. She is the ideal yacht for both family parties seeking fun and adventure or groups of friends wanting a more elegant charter full of high-class entertainment and fascinating trips ashore. A General Description of Motor Yacht BRAZIL

This motor yacht BRAZIL is a superyacht of spacious proportions. This 40 m (132 ft) luxury yacht was proudly created at Heesen Yachts in 1993. BRAZIL used to be named the project or yacht name Headline S; La Bella; Princess K; Simone. Superyacht BRAZIL is a superb yacht that can sleep as many as 10 guests on board and has around 8 qualified crew. The firm of naval architecture whom authored her design in respect of this ship is Gerhard Gilgenast and Richard Hein. Art-Line Interiors (Original)/Claudette Bonville (Refit) was the interior designer who completed the overall interior design.

The Build & Yacht Design with respect to Luxury Yacht BRAZIL

The yacht's general design work came from Gerhard Gilgenast and Richard Hein. The formal naval architect firm intellectual property are the products of Gerhard Gilgenast. Motor Yacht BRAZIL received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Art-Line Interiors (Original)/Claudette Bonville (Refit). the Netherlands is the country that Heesen Yachts constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1993 in Oss she was handed over to the owner following final finishing. Her main hull was crafted from aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated mostly using aluminium. With a beam of 8.47 m or 27.8 ft BRAZIL has spacious size. She has a shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft). She had refit improvement and modification undertaken in 2008.

M/Y BRAZIL Engines & Speed:

The vessel is propelled by twin large MTU diesel engine(s) and can drive at a swift speed at 19 knots. The engine of the ship gives 2200 horse power (or 1619 kilowatts). Her total HP is 4400 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3238. BRAZIL is propelled by twin water jets (kamewa). With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she utilises Naiad. With respect to bow thrusters she was fitted with Dahne. This yacht’s animated cruise speed is 17 knots which produces a range of 2300.

Superyacht BRAZIL Accommodations:

Providing cabins for a maximum of 10 yacht guests staying on board, the BRAZIL accommodates everyone in luxury. Under normal conditions she carries approximately 8 capable crew members to operate.

Heesen Yachts Announces Sale of 50m Project Jade

Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of YN 20350, the 50m fast cruiser Project Jade .

Project Jade was lauded by Netherlands-based Heesen as building on “Heesen’s legacy of fast, hard-chine aluminum yachts.” The yacht was listed for about $44.9 million and is the third Heesen vessel sold by SuperYachtsMonaco in the past decade. 

“We are overjoyed to congratulate the client on entrusting our shipyard with building his new yacht. This sale not only showcases the exceptional quality of Heesen yachts but also confirms our strong relationship with the brokerage network,” said Chief Commercial Officer Mark Cavendish in a news release. 

The all-aluminum superyacht, which comes in at 499 GT, can accommodate 12 guests in five staterooms, including an owner’s suite on the main deck forward. The guest cabins — two doubles and two twins — are on the lower deck. The yacht can host nine crew members. 

The yacht’s interior was designed by Cristiano Gatto and the exterior was designed by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. 

Project Jade has large outdoor spaces, including a sundeck with a whirlpool, a terrace and beach club. The yacht is outfitted with mirrors and tempered glass inspired by the sky and splashes of green to evoke its namesake, Jade. 

The yacht can reach up to 23 knots and is IMO III compliant. The hull was “meticulously designed and engineered by Heesen’s in-house naval architects” to provide a comfortable experience for guests. 

Project Jade will be delivered to its owners in Q2, Heesen said. 

“Our client is extremely happy with his purchase of such a fantastic yacht and looks forward to his first cruise,” said SuperYachtsMonaco founder Jim Evans.

BRAZIL yacht enters the sales market in exceptional condition, having just completed a multi-million Euro refit (2022). Built in 1993 by Heesen and meticulously maintained with continuous refits & upgrades – the latest one completed in 2022 - she is a luxurious vessel who has operated all over the world, and proven herself to be an exceptional yacht for her owners, crew and charterers alike.

BRAZIL is a semi-displacement yacht and comes VAT paid. During her latest refit, she underwent extensive upgrades, including the undertaking of a 4m extension of her swim platform, creating a large sea terrace & beach club. A custom transformer passarelle was installed also acting as a crane. The bridge deck saw a 1.5m extension allowing for a large socialising space with plenty of room for sunbathing and dining. Other updates saw the installation of a new Jacuzzi, new Kohler generators, new electric CMC stabilisers, and a new digital MPA Tijssen system. A new SCANNER 7.1m tender was also purchased to accompany Brazil on her next travels.
