Sunseeker 75 Sport Yacht Review (2023 Edition)
Derived directly from the 74 Sports Yacht, the 75 introduces significant alterations to its styling and finish, while preserving crucial design elements.
Similar to its predecessor, the 75 is available in two configurations: the single-deck Predator and the sportsbridge Sports Yacht model. Both versions boast a range of enhancements and new features, including a redesigned transom and the notable technical upgrade of an RCD category A rating, the highest designation for a leisure yacht in the EU. With an impressive top speed of 40 knots, this British-built vessel makes a bold statement.
Our inspection of hull #1 at the 2023 Düsseldorf Boat Show provided a firsthand glimpse into its exceptional craftsmanship and performance capabilities.

Our Scores Explained
Design & Build
For enthusiasts of the previous 74 Sport Yacht or Predator models, the 75 offers a familiar and beloved experience, as it remains largely unchanged. The hull, engineering platform, layout, and overall design are consistent with its predecessor.
Equipped with twin 1,900hp MAN V12 engines, the 75 is capable of reaching speeds close to 40 knots, delivering an exhilarating ride akin to a racing yacht. Alternatively, it can maintain a confident pace of 25 knots throughout the day. Performance enhancements include Interceptor tabs, thrusters, and stabilizers, ensuring optimal handling and stability. Additionally, the standard hydraulics for the high-low platform are effectively utilized, further enhancing functionality and convenience.
Three Over Four
Buyers are likely to prefer the three-cabin layout over the optional fourth bunked cabin on the Three Over Four model, thanks to its super-sociable lower diner arrangement, destined to become the favorite gathering spot for all.
A standout feature of the Three Over Four model is its excellent and expansive aft deck lounge, complete with a theatrical drop-down cockpit door system. This innovative feature seamlessly connects the salon to the aft deck, creating a unified indoor-outdoor living space.
Tweaks & Changes
In terms of changes, the new 75 model inherits the upgraded sports interior from the XPS version of the 74, making it the standard finish. Previously available as a cost option, this interior now comes standard, featuring sleek carbon detailing.
Sunseeker's decision to elevate the Sport Yacht and Predator to RCD Cat A status is commendable. Achieving this required a reinforced engineering approach, highlighting the exceptional quality of the hull and build. Strengthening the main deck construction, enhancing stability and down-flooding measures, and overall compliance upgrades were necessary to meet Cat A standards. Despite these enhancements, Sunseeker assures us that the yachts maintain their performance identity.
The introduction of new hull colors, including various shades of gray, black, and navy blue, showcases a pigmented gel coat that is specifically engineered to withstand high temperatures. This meticulous attention to detail, observed on the 100 Yacht, extends to the utilization of Low Solar Absorption (LSA) coating on the sportsbridge molding. This black finish, layered over a white gel, effectively minimizes heat transfer, ensuring a cooler yacht and long-lasting aesthetics.
Notable adjustments include enhancements to the windows around the helm, featuring deeper glass sections on each side for improved visibility for guests and the skipper. Below decks, the window design has been subtly refined, with the addition of new stainless steel trims. A significant redesign is evident aft, where the dual tender garage remains unchanged, accommodating a Williams 395 and PWC. However, the entire transom has been revamped, resulting in a more symmetrical appearance with a central garage door and equal steps on each side, replacing the previous offset configuration.
Interior Accommodation
The new finish enhances the sense of spaciousness throughout the deck salon, where light cabinetry and contemporary fabrics are bathed in natural light streaming through the expansive windows. The abundance of glass surrounding the salon creates a stunning visual impact that will undoubtedly captivate onlookers both at boat shows and out on the water.
While the sunroof above the helm remains unchanged in size, the dropped cockpit doors seamlessly blend the interior with the seascape beyond, allowing for a seamless transition between the starboard lounge and its outdoor counterpart.
The port side cabinetry provides ample storage for cruising essentials, although it can easily be converted to accommodate a facing sofa. With a focus on maximizing storage space, the 75 ensures that comfort and functionality are not compromised, offering ample seating options for extended stays onboard.
Social Scene
The Sport Yacht and Predator boast sociable helm stations with elevated guest seating, cleverly integrated into the salon, fostering connectivity while allowing guests to spread out comfortably.
Below the deck, the focus remains on social interaction. The forward VIP, twin cabin, and full-beam stateroom are all impeccably appointed and feature en-suite facilities. However, it's the galley diner that truly shines. While a lower galley may not appeal to everyone, those who prefer a relaxed onboard cooking experience for breakfast, light lunches, and evening gatherings will appreciate this layout. With the galley positioned aft, away from the main living areas, it minimizes steam, smells, and smoke, creating an ideal setting for casual culinary delights.
The galley is equipped with ample cold storage and abundant cupboard space, ensuring convenience and functionality for onboard culinary endeavors. Positioned forward, the diner offers a private space for guests to converse, dine, access refreshments, and place orders, as this is technically a crewed yacht. Moreover, for those inclined to indulge in culinary pursuits, the presence of a grill on both the aft deck and sportsbridge provides an alternative option for cooking enthusiasts.
Carbon Special
The owner's stateroom provides an exceptional showcase for the new interior finish, offering a range of options for the final specification, including various cabinetry and fabric choices, as well as en-suite configurations. The sports-luxe aesthetic is upheld with sleek lighting and carbon-fiber inlays, adding a touch of sophistication to the space.
Located aft, the crew quarters are accessed through a transom door. Despite its designation as a crewed yacht, the 75 Sport Yacht exudes an effortless elegance and is a joy to navigate. However, given its 23-meter length, having a helping hand onboard may be desirable. The crew quarters comfortably accommodate two crew members, along with a toilet compartment and a practical utility area, ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes.
Helm Station
The starboard-side lower helm design maintains continuity with its predecessor, the 74, and rightfully so. Featuring two fully adjustable seats and a convenient side deck door, it offers practicality and ease of use. The main console accommodates two 16-inch MFD screens, complemented by a smart, illuminated panel of switches across the lower console.
A significant enhancement to the helm is the replacement of the old three-piece windscreen with two massive sections of glass, minimizing obstructions and improving visibility. The deeper side screen design further enhances visibility, ensuring excellent sightlines for confident navigation.
Up & Over
Positioned to port, the upper helm offers convenient access for alongside mooring, allowing you to helm from the closest vantage point. However, thanks to its exceptional visibility and ease of surveying both sides of the boat, you'll likely opt to helm from the upper helm most of the time. Sporting a minimalist, sporty design, the upper helm features a clinical white console and sleek carbon-framed seats.
As a genuine performance yacht, guests will undoubtedly relish the opportunity to ride alongside the skipper, making the two excellent guest seating areas at both the lower and upper helm indispensable features of the vessel.
Deck lifestyle
The allure of the private lower deck diner notwithstanding, there's a compelling case for spending all your time in the aft deck lounge. Serving as a full outdoor living area, this deck boasts an expansive sweep of seating to starboard, nestled protectively within the sportsbridge overhang and sturdy side pillars.
Gone are the days of basic seat infills; they've been replaced with a sleek sliding base for added convenience. Additionally, the optional carbon fiber dining table is now a standard feature, while a new wet bar beneath the sportsbridge steps offers the option for a larger refrigerator. Further enhancing the lounge experience, the sun pad has been slightly extended as part of the transom redesign.
Sportsbridge Space
The sportsbridge boasts a newly configured seating layout, featuring a spacious dining area aft and a forward lounge. Both areas are equipped with smart, solid teak tables that effortlessly convert into expansive sun pads, providing ample space for relaxation and sunbathing.
Noteworthy among the updates is a small yet significant design change to the radar mast. Previously a functional aluminum design, it has been replaced with a sleeker, more streamlined molded section, elevating the overall aesthetic and setting a new standard that will extend to other models in the lineup.
Returning to the main deck, the newly designed transom steps greatly facilitate access to and from the hydraulic bathing platform, ensuring effortless transitions for passengers. Additionally, a molded staircase has been introduced to provide bathers with the simplest and most convenient route in and out of the water, enhancing the overall onboard experience.
Value For Money
While Sunseeker is typically renowned for its emphasis on performance, style, and pedigree rather than being perceived as a "best value" option, the 75 may indeed represent a notable exception. With the final specification playing a significant role in determining the true on-the-water price for a yacht of this size, the base price of approximately EUR €3 million ex VAT (accurate at the time of writing) appears remarkably competitive. This pricing strategy provides buyers with the flexibility to customize their yachts to their exact preferences without compromising on quality or craftsmanship.
In today's market, a stabilizer is considered standard equipment, even on high-speed vessels like the 40-knot boat, and while it may increase the budget, the hydraulic package is already included.
The primary consideration typically revolves around whether to upgrade the engines, transitioning from the base 1,550hp MANs to the 1,900hp option. However, given Sunseeker's reputation for performance and power, opting for the upgraded engines is almost a given.
The 75 Sport Yacht and upcoming Predator models have refined, fine-tuned, and enhanced the already impressive 74, retaining its standout features while incorporating subtle details that may not immediately catch the eye but will be endlessly appreciated. Two significant advantages are the inclusion of RCD boost and XPS trim as standard features. Additionally, stylistically, the new transom design seamlessly integrates with the overall aesthetic, while the redesigned aft deck seating infill eliminates previous nuisances.
However, it's the comprehensive package, offered at a price point as aggressive as the design itself, that will undoubtedly ensure the continued success of this model. With a perfect balance of performance, style, and value, the 75 Sport Yacht and Predator represent the pinnacle of Sunseeker's craftsmanship and innovation.
Reasons to Buy
- Inside-outside social design
- RCD Cat A and 40-knot performance
- Competitive price
- New design for 2023
Things to Consider
- No upper galley option
- Small engine bay hatch
The sportsbridge concept truly shines in yachts over 20 meters, offering an upper deck that, while not as expansive as a flybridge, is still impressive and enjoyable.
One notable competitor in terms of sportsbridge space and style is the elegantly designed Princess S72, featuring a layout similar to Sunseeker's offering. The S72 achieves speeds of up to 36 knots with smaller 1,650hp MAN engines, boasting a substantial weight of 55 tonnes, a testament to its exceptional hull design. Inside, the four-cabin layout positions the galley aft with a separate dining area.
Azimut offers two compelling S models for consideration. The S7, slightly smaller at 22 meters, is propelled by triple IPS pods, reaching speeds of around 35 knots. Its four-cabin interior features a galley up layout, with the unique feature of being positioned forward by the helm. On the other hand, the S8, at 25 meters, boasts a smaller sportsbridge but offers ample interior space, including a spacious lounge and dining area on the main deck, along with four cabins and the galley below.
Riva's Perseo Super, capable of 37 knots, is a noteworthy contender known for its blend of sports style and GT luxury. Exquisitely built and designed, its three-cabin interior exudes a blend of yacht sophistication and supercar allure, making it a must-see option in the market.

Sunseeker 75 Sport Yacht Layout
At this size of yacht, the sportsbridge feels very much at flybridge levels on luxury and specification, if not quite on space. That said, the 75's upper deck is one of the biggest in this sector.
A great balance between salon and aft deck space creates two lounges and that inside-outside flow we want. Having the galley down helps salon space and there is no option to move it up, as most rivals do.
The lower galley and dinette is an undoubted feature but it does make the 75 a three-cabin boat.

Sunseeker’s 75 Sport Yacht Blends Opulent Luxury with Sporty Performance
A wolf in wolf’s clothing..
- Writer Craig Ritchie
Plenty of luxury yachts come wrapped in a sporty exterior styling suggesting a muscular foundation capable of performance to match their bold look. But not all deliver on that promise. After all, it’s no easy task getting 40 or 50 tons of boat to soar like a racer and slalom like an Olympic champ.
Looking at the 75 Sport Yacht from the water, the first word that leaps to mind is athleticism. One frequently hears the terms “sleek” and “elegant” used to describe sport yachts, but the Sunseeker 75 looks more like a cat crouched low and ready to pounce. A big part of that is its iconic sports bridge, steeply raked vertical surfaces, and distinctive glazing treatments, but there’s more at play here.
Boarding at the sprawling, hydraulically actuated swim platform that yields direct water access, four steps to either side lead up and forward into the cockpit. Between them, the first step extends the full width of the stern to provide a handy spot for donning swim fins or towelling off after a dip. The starboard side opens to reveal a substantial tender garage, large enough to conceal a Williams 395 and fitted with an integrated tender recovery roller system for effortless launch and recovery. Look more closely, and you’ll spot the neatly integrated deck lighting that adds a warm ambiance and striking appearance.
The design of the 75 Sport Yacht neatly blends outdoor and indoor spaces into a single, continuous entertaining area thanks in part to its innovative cockpit door design. The door slides to starboard then lowers beneath the cockpit decking to disappear when not needed. A wide promenade leads forward to the foredeck, with its expansive U-shaped, forward-facing seating area and a second sun pad.
The port side of the cockpit provides access to the 75 Sport Yacht’s fantastic sports bridge. On the upper deck, there is a variety of appealing seating options, a wet bar with water, a refrigerator, and an available barbecue grill and ice maker. Four Fusion Audio speakers provide concert hall sound to create exactly the right atmosphere whether underway or on the hook.
Inside, the main deck salon features a fold-out table to starboard, a large HDTV to port, and flexible seating throughout. Being a Sunseeker, the fittings, upholstery, and overall fit and finish of the yacht are, as always, in a class of their own. Expansive glazing and a panoramic, sliding sunroof overhead flood the space with both natural sunlight and fresh air.
The standard belowdecks arrangement is a three-stateroom arrangement with a full-beam owner’s suite, a huge VIP stateroom in the bow, and a roomy twin stateroom amidships. Owners can also choose a four-stateroom layout, if desired.
The galley space features high-end Miele appliances, including a fridge-freezer, plus dedicated cabinetry for crockery, cutlery, and glassware and an available 20-bottle wine cooler. The lower deck also includes a roomy saloon for early morning or after-hours relaxation in greater privacy.

The next generation of Sport Yacht has arrived. Striking exterior features, modular furniture configurations and a contemporary interior finish deliver an exciting yacht reaching speeds of up to 40 knots with twin MAN V12-1550 or 1900 engines.
A design concept that balances beautiful architecture with functionality is central to Sunseeker’s 75 Sport Yacht. The symmetry of the stern is a feature in itself. Dual steps lead from the bathing platform to the aft cockpit, with a tender garage capable of housing a Williams 395.
The yacht profile turns heads with stainless steel air intake cowlings and exterior handrails, contributing to the high-quality finish. The aft cockpit benefits from a classic seating arrangement whilst the aft sunpad is an ideal sunbathing space, with a large storage compartment concealed underneath. A traditional second helm is accessible on the spacious flybridge via a stairway. Adjacent companion seating on the starboard side, adjoined by a chaise-longue sunpad, offers an uncompromised view of the water. Meanwhile, up front there is a spacious foredeck with seating and a table for six.
The design extends throughout the interior. Exquisite woods, contrasting fabrics and rich lacquers, paired with indirect and dimmable lighting, create a sophisticated and striking ambience. Bold features include carbon fiber trims, sharp accent designs, reflective surfaces and stainless-steel cabinet detailing. A double-piece windscreen improves visibility and invites light into the main deck. The main deck seating centers around a fold-out table on the starboard side and a large television unit to port, all flooded by natural light thanks to the full height glazing. The comprehensively equipped helm station is forward of the U-shaped sofa, maintaining a typical Sunseeker layout.
The lower deck arrangement offers spacious accommodation for up to eight guests and two crew. A full-beam master cabin with dressing table fitted with storage, a chaise longue and plenty of additional wardrobe space. All three guest suites come with an en suite, and access to a shared day head is available from the lower hallway. The fully-fitted lower galley and dining space offer a social zone for intimate entertaining. Given the breadth of entertainment spaces on offer, spacious cabins and powerful sea-keeping, the 75 Sport Yacht promises to deliver an exceptional owner experience.

We Took Sunseeker's New 75-Foot Sports Yacht Out for a Cruise. Here's What It's Like on the Water.
It's hard not to feel like a Bond villain when you're at the helm of the Predator 75, Sunseeker's latest go-fast sports yacht. It was, in fact, a Sunseeker Predator that was the boat of choice for Bond's arch-villain Le Chiffre in Casino Royale. That was a triple-engine Predator 108 with surface drives, capable of outrunning 007 at over 42 knots.
The new Predator 75, with its shadow-gray hull and black accents, resembles a scaled-down stealth version of the Predator 108. It has the same needle-nosed bow, the same raked-back windshield, and the same swept-up superstructure design as the anti-Bond boat. I did a walkthrough of the 75 at its global premiere in October at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show .
Last week, I had the chance to do a sea trial on the new Predator flagship. The other models in the series include 55- and 65-foot models. The 75, which replaces the 74 XPS, shares the same hull as the Sunseeker 75 Sport Yacht, but without its flybridge. The long foredeck and swept-back hardtop of the new Predator makes it look fast, even at the dock in Fort Lauderdale.
The 75's theoretical top end of 40 knots comes courtesy of the upgraded 1,900 hp MAN V12 turbo diesels. A whopping 3,800 horses. Smaller, standard 1,550 hp versions are available. But as Loran Stavrou of OneWater Yacht Group, the U.S. distributor, puts it during the test: "It's a Predator. Why would you want smaller engines?"
The Predator concept has been a staple in the British yacht builder's line since 1996, when the first 80 was launched. The idea was to create a yacht that was fast and beautiful, but with a sizable interior. The lack of a flybridge means that you're steering inside from the helm on the main deck, rather than up top in the open air.
That's not necessarily a negative. My favorite feature was the carbon-framed glass sunroof above the helm station that measures more than 7 feet by 15 feet. In the open position, it offers the nautical experience of driving an open-top sports car. That means you can enjoy fresh air during good weather and button the hatches during bad. The 75 also has an opening side door beside the helm that increases visibility for docking, by allowing the helm person to step into the side passage to see over the sides.
It was a feisty day out in the Atlantic as we exited Fort Lauderdale via the cruise ship channel, with a strong northerly throwing up four- to five-foot waves. We closed the sunroof to fend off the inevitable spray, pushed forward the throttles, and to the accompaniment of a lovely, throaty turbo whistle, the 52-ton Predator climbed up on plane.
With the wind behind us, we got close to the Sunseeker's claimed 40-knot top speed, but the water was too rough to see what the boat could really do at speed in flat conditions. That day was more about running through, avoiding and occasionally slamming into the ocean swells. Throttling back to the yacht's 30-knot sweet spot put the Predator right in its element, turning the slamfest into a fun ride.
We spent close to an hour offshore. Hard-over turns on the 75's deep-V hull delivered the kind of super-tight response one might expect from a 30-foot sport boat. The turns became even more dramatic when the Predator's Side-Power Vector fin stabilizers temporarily acted up, creating even sharper leans as we did tight circles.
After playing in the surf, we returned to the dock, noting how well the 75 maneuvers in tight quarters with the bow thruster.
During a walkthrough, the Predator's softer side became apparent, especially the way the salon flowed into the rear cockpit, courtesy of big, power-sliding glass doors that drop out of sight. The ability to open the boat to the elements, or close down instantly with the push of a button, is key to understanding the Predator ethos.
Sun-worshipping is a big part of life on a Predator 75. A short step from the cockpit was a large aft sunpad, sitting over a garage designed to accommodate a Williams 395 tender. At the bow was a U-shaped sofa, table, and sunpad with tilt-up backrest.
Back inside the boat, the galley-down arrangement may not be too thrilling to those who would rather cook on the main deck with everyone else. But the glass sunroof, windshield, and lower-deck side windows delivered plenty of natural light. The galley was equipped with Miele appliances, including a full-sized fridge, freezer, and 33-bottle wine cooler.
The Predator shares the same three-bedroom layout as its 75 Sport Yacht sibling. The full-beam master amidships, large VIP cabin in the bow, and a guest cabin with twins were all ensuite, boasting seven feet of headroom. There was also a stateroom for two crew, though a surprising number of 75s are owner-operated. Sunseeker also used quality materials throughout, with high-end finishes like carbon fiber, Calacatta quartz, bleached oak and stainless steel. Fit and finish was universally strong.
Pricing for this new Predator 75 starts at around $4.6 million, with our heavily optioned test boat stickering for $5.72 million. After our lively sea trial, I also realized that, as part of its DNA, each Predator comes with a license to thrill.

A fusion of style and sophistication, the Sunseeker 75 Yacht will never fail to impress. The Filippetti Sport 75 makes you dream: from the ceiling you can admire a roof of stars at night and an endless sky by day.
A DREAM VIEW
This sport yacht is unquestionably head-turning and its silhouette is easily recognizable by its aggressive elegant lines as well as skillful use of glass that creates two-way communication between interiors and exteriors. Light is the undisputed protagonist of the Filippetti Sport 75 : the natural light enters from the windows, flooding every environment and making navigation pleasant. The light shines through the aft glass door and enhances the pleasure of sailing.
TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED FROM ALL POINTS OF VIEW
The exteriors design bears the signature of Luiz Basto : high-tech furnishings, natural materials, and technologically advanced solutions are combined with the finest quality wood. The sharp planing hull delivers excellent performance at sea. This masterpiece of engineering was designed by naval architect R.A. Schofield.

To be represented by Premium Yachts, Ferretti Yachts and Riva , two prestigious brands of the Ferretti Group, will be present at the Moscow International Boat Show 2013, displaying motor yacht Ferretti 530 as well as Riva Iseo yacht tender.
Luxury motor yacht Ferretti 530
Luxury yacht Ferretti 530 was very keen to undertake in collaboration once again with AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology, Ferretti Group Engineering Division and Studio Zuccon International Project . The compact dimensions, 16 meters long and almost 5 meters wide, allow the 530 yacht to deliver grand Italian luxury and cruising immersed in such comfort until now unheard of in a yacht of this size.
Ferretti 530 yacht boasts three revolutionary innovations: the full beam master cabin with chaise longue and two large open view windows that make it a real suite at sea level bathed in light, tones and the natural essences of teak. Moving the galley from the center to the aft section creates a unique open space that includes the saloon, galley, cocktail bar and the dining area, the cockpit area continues thanks to the tilting window. The roll bar free sky lounge and the spoiler allow the 530 a sporty appearance combined with elegantly formal lines.
Ferretti 530 Yacht - Interior
Riva , the iconic Ferretti Group brand, presented a new model at the historical Lake d’Iseo shipyards in July 2011. Featuring elegance and ease of transportation as its distinctive characteristics, Iseo superyacht tender , a 27 foot runabout, is destined to become a must-have for those who love cruising on both lakes and the sea, and, most importantly, design enthusiasts. It is also perfect for anyone wishing to enhance their yacht with an exclusive tender that will never go unnoticed.
Riva Iseo superyacht tender
Due to its ease of manoeuvrability and size, Iseo yacht tender is also ideal as a tender for large yachts. Innovative and elegant, it can also guarantee comfort in bad weather conditions. Besides the electrohydraulic bimini top, it was also designed with a waterproof, automobile-style soft top which protects those on board against water and the wind during cruising.
