There are mainline train stations in Dumfries and Lockerbie, with access to the motorway network at Moffat (M74), Lockerbie (M74) and Gretna (M6). Reciprocal Clubs

The RYC welcomes all boaters to our club on a space-available basis. We are unable to take reservations, however. Therefore, it is best to call (613-748-3005) before arriving and inquire as to likely availability of a slip or mooring.

Reciprocal Arrangements for Listed Clubs

All are welcome to enjoy our facilities at the Rockcliffe yacht club. We offer overnight docking for visitors, providing a convenient and affordable option for boaters to rest and relax while on their journey. Our facilities include access to restrooms, showers, and other amenities, making it a great place to stop by and enjoy some time on the water. With the ability to accommodate boats up to 33 feet, our yacht club provides a safe and secure haven for boaters of all sizes. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or just starting out, our friendly members and welcoming atmosphere make us the perfect destination for all your boating needs.

For visitors from clubs listed below, we have established Reciprocal arrangements. The RYC will grant to reciprocal visitors the specific entitlements shown under each specific club. Over-night entitlements shown for each club are the same as those the listed clubs grant to the RYC members. Proof of membership is required.

The RYC overnight rate is charged for the duration of a visit beyond the courtesy entitlements shown for each club.

Please note, the masting crane is not available to the public or reciprocal club members.
