Luxury Motor Yacht 'Ionian Princess' is a 45.73 m (150 ft) superyacht built by Christensen in 2005. Offering vast interiors and fabulous exterior living areas, this yacht can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins.

Ionian Princess’ boats an aura of elegance throughout her salons with high gloss varnished mahogany raised panels and fluted columns. A curved stairway runs from the main luxury yacht’s deck up to her sky lounge and then up to her sun deck. There are options to dine in any one of the three main dining areas including the inside formal dining salon, the aft deck of the sky lounge or casually on the sundeck with a barbecue.

Twelve guests are luxuriously accommodated in six elegant cabins - two of which are equal masters. All of Ionian Princess’ cabins have ensuite marble bathrooms and state of the art entertainments systems. Ionian Princess' on-deck master cabin's suite includes a private office and his, and hers heads. There is also a child's playroom which is adjacent to the guest cabins on the lower deck.

Guest can dine alfresco and enjoy a massive Jacuzzi for ten persons. There is plenty of room outdoors to sunbathe and relax in the sun. As for entertainment, guests can enjoy a large variety of water toys easily launched on the water via the swim platform. Those who prefer lazying on sun loungers can stay aboard and enjoy sip on delicious cocktails.

The Ionian Princess yacht is equipped with a stabilization system reducing roll and bow thrusters making her more maneuverable at low speeds. Ionian Princess is built to comply to MCA and ABS standards. Ionian Princess has a grp hull and superstructure, a beam of 7.16m (23'5"ft) and a 2m (6'6"ft) draft.

The 45.7m christensen build, ionian princess has been listed with northrop & johnson’s joe foggia with an asking price of $16.75 million….

The 45.7m Christensen build, Ionian Princess  has been listed with Northrop & Johnson’s Joe Foggia with an asking price of $16.75 million.

She is built entirely of composite and was delivered in 2005 by the American yard. She has been undergoing a refit since November 2015 at Halkitis shipyard in Greece to ensure pristine condition for new ownership. Included in the refit work is new paint, engine and generator maintenance work, teak deck upkeep and a refreshment of the interior.

The interior is the work of Donald Starkey Designs and the exterior was completed by US-based Paragon Design. The layout offers accommodation for up to 12 guests, comprising two lavish master staterooms, one on the main deck and one on the lower deck, and four additional staterooms, all of which are en suite. The carefully planned layout is well suited for private use and she has a fantastic charter history.

Ionian Princess 

“She has averaged about 16 weeks of charter per year in the Mediterranean and will soon be offered for charter in the Caribbean”, commented Foggia. “It’s the staterooms that make her so appealing. They are beautifully kept and incredibly comfortable”, he continued.

The Superyacht Intelligence Agency’s data shows that, since 2011, the average re-sale listing price for 40m to 50m Christensen builds, at an age of between eight and 12 years at their time of listing, is $18.57 million, so she is evidently well-priced on the market. Furthermore, the refit work, which is merely supplementary to her already well maintained overall condition and her proven charter history, makes her a valuable addition to the market.

The 45.72 metre motor yacht Ionian Princess has been sold by Matthew Stone and Mark Elliott at IYC , with Jim Query and James Fachtmann at James Fachtmann & Associates introducing the buyer.

Ionian Princess was designed by Setzer Yacht Architects and built in America by shipyard Palmer Johnson with naval architecture by Christensen. She was delivered in 2005 and later appeared in season one of Bravo's hit reality series Below Deck before joining the brokerage market following a refit in 2021. 

Accommodation is for 12 guests in six cabins, plus a convertible stateroom making seven. This includes a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite, three double cabins, and one twin, all with entertainment centres, television screens and marble en suite bathroom facilities. Her refit saw Ionian Princess fitted with a new propulsion system, an interior refresh and the installation of A/C throughout the vessel.

Dining is a highlight aboard Ionian Princess as there are various dining areas for 12 guests throughout the yacht. With the ocean as a backdrop, guests can dine al fresco on the sundeck and the upper aft deck. Formal meals can be enjoyed in the yacht’s formal dining room, which offers an optional etched glass door for privacy. 

Her expansive sundeck has ample sun loungers forward of a ten-person Jacuzzi and a barbecue. Elsewhere, Ionian Princess boasts a sky lounge with a cinema, alongside a gym and additional sunpads. 

The main deck saloon features ample comfortable sofas around a coffee table, forward of a large galley and crew mess. 

Powered by twin Caterpillar C-32 diesel engines, the yacht has a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Ionian Princess was asking $12,900,000.

IONIAN PRINCESS (45.7m / 150’) is a mega charter boat built by Christensen in 2005. She can accommodate up to 12 guests overnight and 12 guests cruising. She is normally offering East Mediterranean as well as West Mediterranean luxury crewed charters during summer seasons. At times, she will also accept charters in the Black Sea, including North Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania and even Georgia, while during winter months she is often prepared to cruise in North Africa and Red Sea, including Jordan, Israel and Egypt. Thanks to her twin MTU V12 superyacht engines, she comfortably cruises at speeds of around 12kn (fuel consumption around 450 l/h) while reaching a top speed of 18kn.  Her best features are classic Greek design, two master suites of equal size and attentive crew of up to 10 including the captain, providing best super yacht service.

The 46m/150ft motor yacht ‘Ionian Princess’ from Christensen has last-minute availability for a June charter in spectacular Mediterranean destinations such as Greece and Croatia .

Constantly ungraded and refitted since her launch in 2005, Ionian Princess combines the serenity of a private retreat with a whole host of modern amenities for on-the-water enjoyment. She certainly makes the perfect platform for a summer escape to the spectacular Cyclades and Ionian Islands .

Guests can then retreat into one of six majestic staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with its own private office, a VIP suite, three double cabins and one twin cabin. In total, the motor yacht can sleep up to 12 guests on a private yacht charter .
