Its hull measures 21 foot 6 inches (6.55 m), which is rounded up to 22 feet (6.7 m) for use in the model's name. First produced in 1968, it is one of the longest continuously produced sailboats in the world...Over 15000! Parts, videos and know-how are abound on the net 2005 last time previous owner had boat in water. I have never had boat in the water or was able to work on her. 2005 was the last time I was inside the cabin before preparing this listing for ebay. She has been closed up for ten years and is dirty in and out. I sprayed Windex in a few areas inside and dirt just wiped off with no scrubbing. Water, at one time, intruded around the forward hatch. Has complete set of interior cushions in gold plaid pattern. Most are in surprising good condition. NO SMELLS. One has a 1.5x1.5 inch hole in fabric that isn't seen when in place. 1 or 2 have an area of cracking vinyl. In all the noted exceptions, I don't think they would be seen or stop you from sailing PREVIOUS OWNER'S DESCRIPTION: '75 Catalina 22 pop top w/trailer • fair condition - Project boat • Swing Keel • Pop top • Sail Inventory: 2 mains, Jib (Marked San Juan works w/Cat 22s) and 150 Furling I think all are usable • Scupper upgrade in transom • Ablative paint on hull and keel • Never in salt water • Needs good cleaning • I know of no problems with the swing keel • No known leaks around keel pin • Comes with 2 Rudders. Usable but not perfect • Port side blemish in the gel coat • One pop top support needs to be re-bedded • Front hatch needs the frame reinstalled and sealed • Soft spot forward of hatch • Crack in cabin threshold but does not affect anything much • Cracks and crazing in the deck gelcoat that need filling • One stanchion base needs to be re-bedded • Small dent/crack in mast near stays, like pinched on one side at the spreaders. When raising the mast, one of the stays was caught and pulled the spreader forward. See photo. A pontoon boat repair guy told me that a braze could patch for about $25 • Needs halyards but I would get all new running rigging • Replace Hatch Boards or just cut a Plywood Hatch • Standing rigging, I am no judge but it worked when last used and it has been out of the elements since. • The forestay also has a quick-release lever purchased from Catalina Direct, along with quick-release pins for quicker and easier mast- raising and lowering. Those parts are, of course, stainless steel. • Will also include a sliding galley out of a 1984 Cat 22. It slides under the cockpit starboard seating when not in use. It has a faucet, sink, water fresh water holding tank, a drawer and a place for a small portable propane stove. I was going to sell it separately on ebay. They normally go from 150-200. TRAILER • Trailer in good shape, but could use some paint• Has 10 ft extension• Has surge brake system used for two trips since it was installed• Has Buddy Bearings• New load range 'C' tires were put on in Spring of 2010. 63 Miles total mileage as boat was towed from one of our rental homes to our house in Martinsville. No cracks or aging seen.• Extra duty bunks BTW: Good used trailers for sailboats are hard to come by. Have clear titles for boat and trailer. I have described everything I know about her to the best of my ability but I am no sailor. Somethings may be better and others may be worse. She is a project boat and sold as is. This is for local Pickup in Martinsville, Indiana (Just south of Indianapolis) An immediate non-refundable PayPal deposit of $200 is required upon purchase. Balance due in CASH when picked up. Brian Elsner is wildly unprofessional and his sales tactics are not only harassing and unprofessional but illegal. Pop Yachts will not let you down.

I contacted Pop Yachts about selling our boat. Was called back by Aaron Taylor who was assigned my account. He made the 2.5 hour drive to take some great pictures and a nice video of our boat for advertising. Less than 2 months later and much work on their end our boat was sold and paid for today. The process was simple from the start to the finish. Talking about the finish, a shout out to Andy for all her help during the lightning fast closing process. After the customer test drive of the boat and go ahead to purchase our boat, less than 2 days later the money was already wired to our bank. 5 star service by the entire Pop Yachts crew. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to sell their boat.

Not At All Pleased To Date

So far, I'm very disappointed with this company. We found the RV that we want and the offer was accepted. The salesman said that the process is just like buying a home. Okay, I've been in the real estate field for nearly 20 years, I am familiar with that. We get to have an inspection. But we can't have our inspector! We have to have an inspector from their list? What? This gives me the feeling that we're being shafted. I do not put up with being taken advantage of. I'm ready to walk away from this deal. My husband, however, is more patient and is still trying to work through it. We'll see.

High integrity and accountable

"I have had a disappointing experience with POP RV Specifically, they contacted me in Sept 2023 with an offer and agreement to list my RV. My wife and I signed the agreement that stated POP RV would list our RV immediately and provide weekly status. A few days later as well as twice a month since September, I attempted to cantact them for confirmation that my RV was listed and listing updates. I never heard back from them until 6 days ago (yes, April 5th 2024) stating they never listed my RV and needed to adjust the agreement. It would have been professional for them to contact me back in September as well return my phone and email messages to inform me that they were not honoring the ageement. Very unprofessional. At this time, I lost 7 months utilizing other resources save "for sale by owner" since the POP RV ageement does not allow for listing an RV with a dealer and/or broker while under agreement with POP RV. I advise others to proceed cautiously if at all with POP RV." UPDATE UPDATE Erin at POPrv immediately reached out to me after reading my review. She and her team were very apologetic in regard to my experience but more importantly, she reconfirmed her and POPrvs commitment and made it top priority to contract and list my RV ASAP. It went public days after we spoke. Garret (my assigned local POPrv rep) visited my RV, reconfirmed POPrvs commitments and partnered professionally as well as respectfully with me. Though I had a bad initial experience, partnering with POPrv now has erased the bad experience and replaced it with a 5 star review not only because POPrv met/is meeting their commitments/promises but they held themselves accountable as well as responsible.

Purchase of boat in Tennessee

Boat is located at marina in Tennessee. The marina required 2 month's notice in giving up the slip. Pop paid for two month's rent to satisfy them. Thanks. The buyer's agent was in Florida. We had difficulty obtaining information about the current status of the boat as no Pop rep. was at the marina. The seller's agent contact was given to me to ask about the boat's current status. The sale was completed and sales tax was paid in Florida. The Tennessee registration requires a form to be completed that was supposed to come from the broker. None was provided. TN also requires that TN taxes were paid. Not done.

It was our understanding during closing that the boat was going back to Florida, and your Florida address was used for the documents. Therefore, sales tax was collected for Florida, and a De aler tax Statement was provided. We are required to collect sales tax for anything coming back or staying in Florida. Hanna Banana earns POP 9.5 stars

Pop is the greatest platform I’ve ever experienced is selling a unit, I had been trying for 6 months on my own with not much action. 2 days after listing I received a offer for $4000 more than what I was trying to get. Roy my personal representative was to my place with in days to make video and take pictures ( all at pops expense) showing it very well. My heart and greatest appreciation goes to “Hanna Banana “for her tireless dedication and ability to handle a very complex closing over the weekend. She started @ 5 stars and by time everything was finished I moved her up to 9.5 ( I’m a communist judge and never give 10.0) . Excellent Class A RV Buying Experience

I recently purchased a Class A motor home after a long search. Without seeking PopRVs out, I purchased it through them. I’m very pleased that I did. The rep, Sonny, was extremely helpful and patient with me and my specific desires. The Closing Advocate, Tracy, was SUPER. She was very congenial and professional and walked me through the process in a friendly manner. The listing agent, Raymond, went above and beyond what you get in today’s world of customer service. Unprofessional Sales and Finance Reps

The individuals at Pop Rv are totally unprofessional. I'm specifically calling out Andy Baker and Caleb Grassi. Andy prompted me to apply for a loan through Rock Solid Funding (their partner) without ever calling or speaking with me personally. I received a computer rejection in less than 5 minutes after submitting the application. No human being ever looked at my application. When I questioned the process, Caleb Grassi gave me a "sorry we can't help you" reply. I make over $100k/year, have $0 debts, and have stellar ratings on my credit report from Chrysler, Ally Bank, Verizon, Capitol One, and more. My prediction: Pop RV will be out of business in a year or two max. My Recommendation: Shop Elsewhere.

Good Overall Experience

Good overall experience working with Pops RV. Only thing I would recommend is have the area representative be available at inspection or delivery of the RV to assist with any issues that might arise. Other than that they worked to keep me informed on the sale transaction Rusty from Pops stepped in to help with getting me the paperwork from the finance company as it was running late. He also ensured I was reimbursed late fees I was assessed for the paperwork not getting to me on time. Would recommend Pop RVs if you’re in the market for an RV.
