About M/Y Altair

Gullet Altair is beautiful 6 cabin gullet with a unique design! It is built in Croatian shipyards and has an authentic look typical for Adriatic Sea. Interior and other specifications are similar as any other gulet but more spacy and in robust style.

The cabins are very homey and comfortable and are designed for 12 people. There are six cabins in total and the same are consisted of four double bed cabins and two twin bed cabins. The bright design of the cabins opens up the space, making it more comfortable and spacious. In each cabin you will find a wardrobe, storage space, bathroom towels, beach towels, 24 V/220 electricity and even a cute little plant that always reminds you of land. Every cabin has air conditioning and its own private bathroom. The bathrooms are very cute and lovely. Each has a shower box, sink with mirror, soap, shampoo and a toilet.

Additional Altair description:

Saloon is spacious and very polished. It has a nice wooden table and a surrounding peach color sofa. There is a nice bar as well that is fully equipped with all desired inventory. There a skilled hostess will prepare amazing cocktails and savory snacks. A cockpit is inside as well. There are many large windows that provide loads of sunlight. If you wish to play a guitar, Altair even has that! If not, probably some member of the crew knows, and they can spice up your dinner with their beautiful songs. Once you leave the saloon, you will find yourself on the stern. There you will find a beautiful, thick wooden table where you will enjoy in our many delicious recipes. Behind the table is a large, comfortable cushioned area. There, you can relax and enjoy the gorgeous view of our beautiful islands and the coast. The back has eaves, so all your meals and rests will completely be hidden from the sun. On the front of the gullet are many sun matrasses where you can relax after a long swim and enjoy in the sun. The sun matrasses can be covered in awning. In the front is another large and leathered sofa perfect for getting that desired summer tan. On the coffee table the crew will put a bottle of champagne, a cheese plate and you just need to enjoy, relax and create memories. Except of relaxing, resting and dining there are many activities you can do around the boat. Put on some snorkeling gear and take a stand-up paddle board and explore our green environment and investigate what hides on our rocky sea bottom. For more active activities you speed around the boat on water skies or on a wake board. The little ones can hop on the waves with a donut or a ring. Every experience is complete with the crew. An experienced young captain will show all hot destinations while a strong sailor will help him maintain the boat in perfect condition. A creative chef will prepare all amazing Croatian food while a helpful hostess will serve them and make you feel relaxed and welcome. Come and create wonderful memories with gullet Altair.

Port fees - Anchorages:

Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors.

The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call.

It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 1000 - 1500 EUR).

Duje Antišić

Duje Antišić was born in 1997 in the coastal city of Split, Croatia. His father, a seasoned sailor, introduced him to the sea’s vastness and taught him the ways of the waves from a tender age.

From the moment he could walk, Duje found himself aboard the ship Konkordia, his second home amidst the rolling tides. His childhood was colored by the sights and sounds of maritime life as he shadowed his father’s every move, absorbing the intricate knowledge of marine mechanics and navigation like a sponge.

As he matured, Duje’s passion for the sea only deepened. Eager to expand his horizons, he ventured beyond the confines of Konkordia, joining crews on various vessels, each voyage offering new lessons and challenges to conquer. GULET ALTAIR

Based out of Split, Altair is special in that instead of being imported from Turkey, she was built in Croatia, with Croatian cruising especially in mind. She has many of the typical gulet trademarks but also has a unique feeling of Croatian design along with a very personable crew, most ably led by Captain Dare. Like the best Captains in the area, Dare knows the central Adriatic coastline intimately, so that you can be assured of visiting the best beaches and most attractive ports in the archipelago.

The design of the deck is in the traditional gulet style, with a well-tested layout of ample sunbathing areas in the bow and the dining area in the stern. There is additional lounging in the stern and a second seating area for sundowners up near the bowsprit.

The saloon offers additional, indoor seating and the on-board bar off which bright corridors lead to the six cabins, four with double beds and two with twin beds. All have en suite bathrooms with showers, but please note that the bathrooms attached to the twin cabins are little more basic. 

The water sports equipment on board is excellent for a yacht in this price-range.

Boat Description

Gulet Altair is a very nice 6 cabin gullet, a very special specimen since it is the only gullet that was completely built in Croatia and for the Croatian cruising especially. It has much of the typical gulet trademarks but it also has a unique combination of Croatian design.

Guest cabins configuration :

4 Double bed cabins (200×140 cm) 2 Twin cabins (200×90 cm).

• Each of the cabins has wardrobe, 24 V/220 electricity, hair dryers, its own en suite bathroom, home like, with shampoo, toilet paper, soap, shower box.
• Beach towels:1 per person per week
• Bathroom towels: 2 towels per person per week.
• Additional beach or bathroom towels :  on request
• Bedding info : bed sheets are included in price.
• Air-condition: 12 hours/ day is included in the price.

Deck: The design of the deck is the typical and well tested layout, with a sun bathing area in the front, and a dining area in the back, as well as a cushioned sofa.

Salon areas: The salon is fully equipped with lounge and seating areas as well as the ship’s bar. The bright corridors lead to the 6 cabins, of which 4 are double bed and 2 are twin bed cabins. The kitchen area is open plan so you can enjoy an appetizer while watching the diner getting prepared.

Galley & crew quarters : kitchen galley features all necessary equipment – including ovens, grill, refrigerators and deep freezers. The crew quarters are separate from the guests with private access at the bow.

Gulet Yacht Altair - 2024 Charter Rates / Per Week

Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A) in amount of the charter fee (before discount) is to be paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee which includes all fuel and relevant costs for the yacht and its tenders, as well as all harbor expenses, customs, gratuity and other additional costs for the yacht, crew, client and guests during the entire charter period.

A.P.A. is obligatory for all luxury yachts and it is usually ranged for 30% of the charter price. The Client will be advised by the captain, at intervals, as to the disbursement of the A.P.A and will, if the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in light of current expenditure, pay to the captain, a sufficient sum to maintain an adequate credit balance. Prior to disembarkation at the end of the charter period, the captain shall present to the Client a detailed account of expenditures with as many supporting receipts as possible, and the Client will pay to the captain the balance of the expenses or the captain will repay to the Client any balance overpaid, as the case may be.

Payment for special requirements or equipment and/or shore transport and/or excursions and/or all other expenses not customarily considered part of the Yacht's costs may be required to be paid to the captain on board in addition to the charter fee and/or A.P.A.

PORT FEES/ANCHORAGES:

Port fees and anchorages are to be paid on spot in each port/anchor (in cash),according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/ports of call. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (a pproximate cost is between 500 - 1,000 Euros).

Full board (breakfast +lunch + dinner): 650 Eur per person per week

Extra meal (dinner - three courses) is optional 50 Eur per meal per person

DRINKS/BEVERAGES OPTIONS:

Drinks/beverages to be taken at the yacht bar and paid according to consumation.

All-inclusive domestic drink package of 290 Eur per person includes: Croatian quality wine, domestic beer, spirits, soft drinks, natural and mineral water, milk, tea and coffee. Foreign liquors and wines are not included in this package.

All-inclusive non-alcoholic drink package : 100 Eur per person per week.

Important Note: All inclusive options include some Croatian wines served by the crew, not all from the bar's list. Not included: Imported wines, beers & spirits. Drinks and beverages completely supplied by clients - corkage fee: 700 Euros per week.

ALTAIR is a unique Croatian gulet which was build to cruise the Dalmatian Coast. 

The wide beam creates a beautiful spacious open deck. On the forward deck area, multiple sun loungers can be found which is ideal for sunbathing, socializing or relaxing in the shade while gazing out at the stunning passing scenery. The aft deck allows space for full-width al fresco dining for all guests. Additional lounge seats can be found near the very aft of the ship.

The inside main salon is furnished in light, soft tones which refelcts a calm and warm atmosphere. The salon offers a large dining table for indoor dining and the on-board bar. Furthermore, this area is equipped with TV, Play Station and Stereo sound system. From the salon, the cabins can be accessed by passing the bright corridors.

This charming gulet can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 en suite cabins. The guest cabins are arranged as follows: 4 cabins with double beds and 2 cabins with twin beds. The simple yet stylish design makes every guest feel comfortable and at home. 

Enjoy many sports activities such as windsurfing, canoeing, snorkeling, donut riding and water skiing if you are feeling adventurous. Captain Dare and his crew are waiting for you to create unforgetable memories together on board ALTAIR.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY:

This was our third time in Croatia on board of a gulet and the first time on ALTAIR. We never had such a sportive holiday as this. We did several hikes on Vis, Hvar and other small islands and played for several hours around the boat with the water toys. We will miss the fresh local fish on the BBQ which we chose almost every day! Gulet Altair

A classic motor sailer built in a local shipyard. On the interior she features 6 double en-suite cabins. There are 4 double and 2 twin bedded cabins. All cabins have a full length wardrobe, storage area beneath the berth, and AC. She has brand new en-suites. Although she can accommodate 12 guests in total, she would be an ideal choice for a party of 8 to 10 guests.  On the exterior she has a large dining table in the aft. The owner has also recently built a divan sofa behind the dining table for the maximum comfort. Altair's best feature is a super comfortable cresent shaped sun lounge at the front ideal for sunset and enjoying the view. Captain Duje Antisic and his 2 crew will ensure a lovely stay onboard.

Charter price includes

The crew (specified above), water, electricity, clean bed linen, clean shower and sunbathing towels (changed at least twice a week), a free welcome drink, fuel for 4 hours cruising a day (which is usually more than enough), Wi-Fi Internet connection, personal injury insurance while on the boat, and free use of onboard equipment specified above.

Charter price doesn't include

Harbour fees (see above for estimate of cost, which can be reduced by anchoring outside the ports on some nights), meals & other drinks aboard (specified above), transfers between the airport and boat, National Park entrance fees and tips to the crew.

Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is a percentage of the charter price to be paid in advance to cover your expenses during the cruise, such as meals, drinks, harbour fees, etc. The APA is held on account on your behalf and at the end of the week the total of all your expenses will be deducted and the balance will be refunded to you (it does not include tips to the crew, which need to be paid separately). Not all boats ask for an APA (see above) but ask for meals and all-inclusive drinks to be paid on arrival and harbour fees to be paid locally as you arrive in each port.

The boats' charter season is usually from the beginning of May to the end of October and this is usually divided into 3 price periods, with Low Season usually comprising May & October, Mid Season usually comprising June & September, and High Season usually comprising July & August. Some boats, however, can have as few as 2 different pricing periods and some as many as 4 or even 5, and the dates for these can vary, so if you are confused, which is understandable, please don't hesitate to

Port and Tourist Taxes

PORT TAXES: Port fees, anchorages, and Tourist taxes are to be paid on spot (in cash), according to actual costs in ports/anchors. The total cost per week depends on the selected itinerary/port costs. It is not obligatory for the yacht to be in the port each night, it can also be anchored, which lowers the mooring fees (approximate cost is between 500 – 1.000 Euro/week). In case of the large consumption of water or fuel during the cruise yacht should go to the port to refill.

Private Marinas:

• If a client wishes to use private marinas the costs can vary from 300 and up to 800 €/night.
• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 7% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

Additional Motorized Water Sports:

• Altair has water skiing and Ringo ride which is charged 150 €/hour according to clients usage. 

Other Options on request:

• Land transfers, fishing licenses, guided tours, excursions, restaurants, bike rentals, car rentals.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

The Altair Gulet

The main saloon of the Gulet Altair has lounge and seating dining areas, as well as the ship’s bar. The guest and crew areas are both air-conditioned.

You can relax on one of the deck loungers and take in the scenery or head inside for entertainment, which includes a TV, DVD player, and USB connection for your multimedia devices.

The kitchen galley has all of the necessary appliances. All meals are served alfresco or indoors, with ample seating in the elegant, air-conditioned salon.

Gulet Altair has a large deck with a sunbathing area in the front, a dining area in the back, and a cushioned sofa. Relaxing on a comfortable sun mattress on Altair’s front deck is a great way to unwind.

Gulet Altair is a luxury yacht that can accommodate up to 12 people and is complete with modern conveniences.

The four crew members accompanying you on your cruise will have their own cabins. During the cruise, the crew is in charge of all meals, cleaning, maintenance and daily activities.

Gulet Altair is a lovely sailing vessel with six elegant cabins and modern en-suite bathrooms. The cabins are divided into the following configurations:

How does charter Agreement work ? Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the gulet’s central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

Payment Options We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. SUNNYVALE — The site of a planned office project in downtown Sunnyvale has been bought by a group that intends to develop the property.

The Minkoff Group, acting through an affiliate, has bought a site at 100 Altair Way in downtown Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County documents filed on Dec. 31 show.

The proposed office project would sprout on a site that fronts on Altair Way between Aries Way and Tafee Street, according to county and city records.

100 Altair, the Minkoff affiliate, paid $32.7 million for the site, county documents show.

Minkoff Group has proposed a seven-story office building that would total 141,300 square feet, according to Sunnyvale planning files.

“The project is providing a high-quality office building capable of supporting single or multiple tenants,” the Sunnyvale Planning Commission said in a report released this year.

The office building is just one component of a wide-ranging facelift for downtown Sunnyvale.

The major effort in the city’s downtown district is CityLine Sunnyvale.

Among the major success stories: Two major anchors for CityLine Sunnyvale, a Whole Foods and an AMC movie complex are located in the same building at the corner of Murphy Avenue and McKinley Avenue.

Whole Foods occupies 52,000 square feet on the ground floor of the building while AMC DINE-IN Sunnyvale 12 occupies 52,000 square feet on the second floor of the building in downtown Sunnyvale.
