Meet Our Crew

                   Captain/Engineer/Dive  Instructor

Alex joins us from Derby, England and has his BSC in Marine Biology. His nickname is TinTin for his tiny eyes! He has currently travelled to almost 50 countries but has worked predominantly in Honduras, Cambodia and The Bahamas. The Bahamas has been his home for the past 4 years. TinTin could spend all day surrounded by Sharks but you will never find him walking through a field of cows.

Engineer & Dive Instructor 

Jen has been all around the world. Starting off in Australia on a pirate ship operating out at the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. She continued to see the ocean around Indonesia and Thailand where she furthered her education in the diving industry. She ended up working in a resort in the Maldives and then the Bahamas for the past four years where she did her IDC staff instructor certification. She has been a shark feeder for years and also worked for a short time in Baja California Sur, Socorro Islands before she came back to join our crew in November 2021. She has been working on our sister ship the Aqua Cat for two years and wants to further her knowledge in engineering and captaining on our Cat Ppalu. Before joining the diving industry Jen worked as a roofer in her home country Germany and she has her yacht carpentry degree. She has a massive passion for taking underwater photos and videos. The closer she comes to a shark the better!

Wooden boat "Choksomboon 9"

Blue Planet Divers offer local day trips on our well-known boat “Choksomboon 9”. This dive boat is a trademark of our centre in Koh Lanta, since it is the first vessel we used when we created Blue Planet. Its captains, named Wee , even considers this boat as his first wife. The boat departs every day from the Saladan pier at 8 AM and bounds for our amazing local dive sites in the Andaman Sea from Koh Lanta. With this boat, it takes about 2 hours to get on the site.

Big catamaran "sukanya 3".

This 60 feet powered catamaran is the best option for our special 3 dives around the Andaman sea. It has the most incredible facilities for a short day out. With a 20 knocks speed and extreme confort we will be able to reach very quickly our father dive sites Hin Deang & Hin Muang. Diving around Koh Lanta is becoming a luxury service with Blue Planet Divers. We have all new features on board with Nitrox membrane system as well. This 40 boat seats is perfect for this special day out. No crowd with all this space and quality service on board guaranteed.

This fast boat departs from Saladan at 7:00am to reach any of our special 3 dives farther sites. It takes only 2 hours to get to our special and far Hin Deang / Hin Muang instead of 4 hours by slow boat. We are usually backing to our 3 dives trips at 3.30pm in early afternoon. So you can enjoy the end of your day with your family or friends!

Small Catamaran "Emily"

Our fast small powered catamaran has been designed to meet the needs of the most demanding customers. This little Catamaran is larger than common dive speedboat and best offer for distant destinations. It has a large dive deck where guests can sit comfortably to eat or prepare for the next dive. This boat can easily accommodate 15 divers including the staff for our special three-dive day trips.

This fast boat departs from Saladan at 7:00am to reach any of our special 3 dives farther sites. It takes only 1.45 min to get to our special and farther Hin Deang / Hin Muang and usually backing to our 3 dives trips at 3.00pm in early afternoon. So you can enjoy the end of your day with your family or friends! However this little spacious catamaran is the most perfect vessel for our private trips offer to places such as Koh Haa or Koh PhiPhi .

Almost everything has been said by the previous reviewers. Good atmosphere, nice instructors, well organized, the dive boat is well maintained and the food is good (breakfast and lunch are provided). The dive sites we went to were very nice. Did Open Water and Advanced Open Water there. They'll pick you up at your resort at the beginning of the day, and drive you back at the end.

We've had a great 3 days diving experience at sites like Ko Bida Nok, Kled Kaeo Wreck, Koh Haa - some of the best places in Thailand. Dive instructor Katarina took a great care of us, all dives were fun and long. Love it will definitely be back 😍

Totally recommend Blue Planet Divers Koh Lanta. It’s good for divers of any experience- I got my open water here and it was great. For the pool day, they drove us across the island so we could use a decent sized pool. Then the next 2 days of diving in the ocean we dove at 5 different places, all with amazing sea life. The shop and boat was clean and organized. The crew and dive instructors were very helpful. Their gear seemed well maintained. They provided breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks. I stayed at their dive house which was extremely convenient. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you!

If you dive here, definitely ask for Eak to be your instructor! He was so friendly and fun to spend the day with. He made our experience really great :) His love and passion for the ocean definitely showed on our dives.

Blue Planet Divers is the place to go for diving in Thailand, they're based in Koh Lanta and dive close to Koh Phi Phi and other dive sites. I did my PADI OPEN WATER and Deep Diver Adventure course with an extra 10 dive package. The instructors were very knowledgeable, kind, patient and they made sure I was comfortable and confident enough before going to the open water of the Andaman Sea. Diving in bonaire.

Our Sail, Dive & Dine catamaran tour is all about diving in Bonaire. Together with our partner Buddy Dive we want to give you the best diving experience on Bonaire.

We will sail along the beautiful coast and have two guided boat dives. Our first dive is on Klein Bonaire. Together with Buddy Dive’s dive master, you will go into the water to discover the marine life of Klein Bonaire. For the non-divers we offer a guided snorkeling tour. After the first boat dive you will receive a tasty lunch prepared by our crew.  

To fully experience scuba diving in Bonaire, we sail to a second dive stop in the Bonaire Marine Park. While divers once again enjoy Bonaire’s underwater world, non-divers can snorkel or swim. Once everyone is back from scuba diving, we will sail to a beautiful, sheltered spot where you will have a delicious 4-course dinner during sunset.

All users of the Bonaire Marine Park (the waters surrounding Bonaire) are required by law to pay the  Bonaire Nature Fee from STINAPA . If you haven’t already, please acquire the Nature Tag for every passenger before your tour.

The Sail, Dive & Dine tour is not wheelchair and stroller accessible. Also, it is not recommended for people with heart conditions or any other serious medical conditions. Lastly, it is not suitable for pets. 

The minimum age for the Sail, Dive & Dine catamaran tour is 13 years old.

Please inform us in advance about any food allergies / dietary wishes. Then we will take this into account.

• We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event.
• We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 4 days or less before the event.

Description

The ultimate diving excursion on Bonaire! A must do for every certified diver visiting Bonaire! On this diving trip with Catamaran you will visit two beautiful diving spots. Step aboard the Lagoon 440 “FLY AWAY” Catamaran, feel the luxurious atmosphere of sailing, make yourself comfortable and enjoy this perfect day on and under the water.

Delicious cold drinks and refreshments are served as you cruise the beautiful waters of Bonaire. The guided dives will be at various dive sites in the Bonaire Marine Park and you will be accompanied by an experienced dive guide. When you've come back on board after your second dive, it's time to relax, have nice cold drinks (unlimited drinks after the dive), enjoy the panoramic view and be pampered with a luxurious 4-course dinner from the grill on board. Think of tuna sashimi (if fresh tuna is available), tenderloin, picanha, shrimps, local fish and much more.

Non-Divers are welcome as well! Would you like to join this wonderful day tour without diving? Then you are more than welcome. There is a special rate for non-divers, and instead of diving, you can simply relax on board, swim or snorkel around the boat, or go paddle boarding when the SUP board is on board. Almost every dive spot has beautiful shallow areas with a wide variety of fish and corals to explore. This is also a great tour for the snorkeler to go on. 

This Catamaran trip concludes with an unforgettable sunset as you slowly sail back to the port, which will complete this amazing day.

• You need to be a certified diver (level: Open Water Diver or higher) to join the guided dives during this excursion. Further you need to having done at least one orientation dive with a dive school on Bonaire before joining our boat dives. If you haven't done this yet, please contact us so we can arrange the orientation dive for you.
• Minimum age 13 years to participate
• For this diving experience a good healthy condition is required, and you should be able to enter and excess the water from the boat through the boat ladder without assistance. If you are not sure, please contact us.
• Please bring your dive certification proof and your STINAPA tag for check-in

RESERVATION COSTS

A reservation fee apply for some tours or activities we offer. These are costs that Caribbean Tours must make to make the reservation on your behalf with the local tour operator. We keep these costs as low as possible, but we have to pass on a small part to you as a customer. Because of this, we can offer this tour, so that you can easily book online your seats for this tour. The reservation costs are a fixed component and amount per booking, regardless of how many people come along.

Caribbean Tours is very committed to all stray animals that often have to live in harsh conditions on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. We take their fate very seriously and would like to do something to prevent this animal suffering. CHANGE OF RESERVATION

Changing a booking that has already been confirmed and for which you have already received the ticket or voucher is possible under certain conditions. The costs for changing a booking are normally € 15 per change. By choosing a flexible ticket directly with your booking, you pay € 5 extra once and changing a booking is free of charge up to 48 hours before the start, even if you would like to change several times.

Notice: a booking can only be changed if the new desired date is available and an agreement has been received from the executing tour operator.

Caribbean Tours guarantees the lowest price  on tours & tickets that can be booked via our website. When you find the same tour or ticket for a lower price within three days of booking or after arrival at destination, we will  refund  the difference to you.

• We will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible.
• When everything is verified, we will refund you the price difference.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations received 1 day before the scheduled tour will cause a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received on the same day of the excursion will be considered non-refundable. Cancellations due to extreme weather conditions or due to medical issues (proof of medical certificate) will cause no cancellation fee.
